I can understand. Gatineau is 35-1-1 since January. Not anymore, pretty sure there down 2-0 same as us hopefully both teams can bounce back this week! Quebec lost Nicolas Savoie and Justin Robidas in this game. They're already missing Darcy. They played with 4 defensemen for the last 30 minutes dans the OT. It won't be easy even though it's 2-0.

Quebec truly is on a tear.
I can potentially see Gatineau being competitive again next year though assuming most of their core is in tact but time will tell if they owe any futures at the draft.
Originally it was said that none of Luneau, Warren, Savoie, or Verreault were involved in any futures but I've also heard there will be some players going to new places as futures so we will have to see what they have left when it's all said and done.

Thank you guys!
Nathan Gaucher on the predictions of the experts, who favored Gatineau in greater numbers than Quebec to win the series:
“It motivated us a lot, more than you think. You learned from your mistakes, I think! »

They don't have 1st, 2nd or 3rd picks for the next three drafts. How could they go for it with only Verreault, Savoie, Marcel and maybe MacDonald and/or Gendron back as overagers on offense?

Samuel Savoie was true to himself at the end. He injured Quebec's Charle Truchon with 25 seconds left with a vicous hit. All he did in this series was try to injure players, not thinking about actually scoring goals.
Quebec is already down a defenseman with Savoie injured since the 2nd period of the 2nd game.
Hopefully they are able to rest and be back in 8-9 days for the final.

I'm guessing when they stated their core 4 wouldn't be involved in anything was probably just a cover up at the time They could always start the year with those guys (assuming none are involved in futures) and move them for a ton at next season's deadline in order to rebuild. they truly did go all-in and sadly didn't work out for them. I personally would be shocked if Philly doesn't sign Gendron after the season he put up, so seeing him back is unlikely. Maybe MacDonald comes back out of the drafted guys. I'd assume they'd want to get 2 young Euro's as well.

when multiple teams go all in it never works for everyone
surprising sweep for sure but it's not like the Remps blew them out of the water.... the games were all very close
gotta give Quebec credit tho..... looks like the Isles were eliminated by the league champs for the 3rd year in a row

You wouldn't take him the way he played in that series. He should be a nice add for a contender next season though. I guess getting swept in the semifinal after everybody told you since January how great you are is hard and it was all frustration. For a character player like him controlling your emotions is even harder.
