I don’t have any reason to think they can’t win this game.
I’m going 5-2 Mooseheads, I think Milner has a good night and I think Larmand buries his first as a Moosehead. And someone on the top line gets a hat trick. Lock it in.

This coach won’t change the lines around , we lost 3 of 4 and don’t look great again !!!

I’m not usually negative , but the players aren’t the problem , I think the coaching style doesn’t fit the teams skill set , a couple more losses or disappointing games before Xmas break may be Midgleys demise , I think they jumped to quick after Favreau quit on the team before training camp , I agree with the others on here .

Moose coming back to reality lately. They badly need a 2nd scoring line, created with trades. They will always be good, but to be better tha a top 4 team in playoffs will need more puck possession and secondary scoring.

Also blowing three 2 goal leads in the last 120 minutes is probably even wilder.

His speed created chances and took pressure off the top line. You're right there is nothing happening after Vidicek, Dumais and Cataford. Fournier has goals but just the right guy in the right spot, he's not generating chances himself.

How is this team even close to be ranked in top 10, Val D'or is easily one of the weakest teams I have seen in a long team. If Dumais goes to WJC this team will fall off the cliff in Dec. They need huge upgrade to 20's as well as depth in lines 3 and 4

I wrote a few weeks ago that without our top line, we’re not better than mid-pack teams like CB or Charlottetown…but now we have the proof that without that top line we’re worst than last team of the league. Today, it was the worst game of the season for Dumais, Vidicek and Cataford, but I don’t mind as they’re allowed to have a bad game at times.

This team has struggled defensively all season long for some reason. This was supposed to be their strong point. It’s constant turnovers, running around, no one taking their man on D. If this lose isn’t a wake up call then I’m not sure what will be.
11/6/10 were awful tonight. Not often that happens but Dumais has definitely had some serious turnovers this year in comparison to his first 3 years here. There is no drive, no passion, no pride being shown by anyone this year. If not for Rousseau then this edition of the moose would be 10 wins worse then it is now. Maybe it’s time to think about trading #11 and #43 and build a powerhouse next year. I thought for sure that this team with a little tweaks for secondary scoring would be unstoppable. But their needs to be leadership and pride for this team to be better

Am I missing something but even adding a top player or two wouldn’t have changed anything in tonight’s game? We played awful. It seemed like there was barely any drive and motivation. We let off any and all pressure after the first 2 goals. With this attitude we can have a loaded team but will still loose. We need to want to win. We need to push. I believe that determination can overcome skill gaps (thinking back about the semi-finals against Sherbrooke - were they better? Probably. Did we wanna win? Yes. Did we win? Yes.)
Tomorrow the team will face a challenge. They’ll want to prove they’re a contender against another top team. They might even be worried about loosing. But exactly that will create the motivation and drive they need. I’ll go with a 3:1 win for tomorrow. Go Moose Go!
Just saw the previous post by Jabronie. I can only agree. It feels like half the players attitude is “well we’re the best in the CHL with Dumais so let’s just get this over with and win the championship.”

Dumais a great , prob best offensive player in the league in a long time but his defensive play and body language are god awful, things go bad instead of buckling down and helping his team he slaps his stick on the ice and floats around maybe the reason he’s back here this year !!

And I am not panicking, I was expecting a slump like this, it was too obvious.

I have said this from day 1 that they should go for the fences this year and trade futures to go all in. There is not a clear cut #1 team this year as of yet. Go get what is needed and let’s go win the whole thing
