The Eagles play tonight and tomorrow afternoon at The Nest . Not a fan of Back to Backs and much less the Saturday Night - Sunday Afternoon ones . As much as you hope that The Eagles front office types get their act together , I could be wrong but did they announce the Teddy Bear Toss at the Last Game ? or am I just hearing about it now with an email they sent me ?

When they put out their weekly schedule 5 days ago on facebook it showed a teddy bear on the Gatineau game and then they put another reminder 3 days ago on facebook. |

Most Seniors are Big into Facebook ? I know 8 or 10 in my Section that don't even own a Computer . It should have been pumped up at the last 3 or 4 Home Games on the Jumbo Tron .

It is too bad the Eagles scored one tonight. It would have been nice if the owner got to witness a shutout like all the fans who keep showing up get to see all the time on home ice. |

For every goal squires has this season he has triple the amount of turnovers. Almost every game he seems to blind pass it backhand and it leads to an odd man rush or a goal for the other team.

He was the primary cause of the 2nd goal against, If he just shoots the damn puck instead of trying to force a pass maybe it doesn't end up an odd man rush. |

This Team can't pass .....can't pick up a Pass ...........might be the most frustrating Team to watch in 10 + Years . Next year is Year 3 ....they better re-visit that because there is no way this Team is only 3 or 4 Players away from contending . If someone doesn't get through to the two guys at the Top then we are goin down a road that might just go right off a Cliff .

Simon doesn’t have a clue , going to be an interesting few weeks ahead with the trade period starting a week from today . Looking at the standings today how can the eagles be buyers ?

You can criticize a 18 years old, best forward on the team, trying to create plays. It was a bad play, I agree. But how about the overage forward on this team that gets plenty of ice-time without much results. This afternoon, take a look at the player they traded. He wears #19 and he has 35 points this year. |

Maybe the Eagles will score more than 1 goal today, a tough feat in junior hockey but I do believe they can achieve it.

The negativity around this forum. Holy it’s depressing 😂 Not meaning to be condescending or mean spirited at all, but do you attend the games? Alot of people here have been supporting this team through thick and thin for years and years, nothing to show for it except being the butt of the joke within our friend groups for either being a STH, or even supporting the team at all. It's embarrassing, it's frustrating, it's saddening seeing the current state of the franchise when all you want is SO BADLY to see some form of success to keep you coming back. I feel like an addict chasing the dragon sometimes going to these games and seeing the head-to-toe incompetence. I leave mad, I leave disappointed, I leave sad more often than not. My jerseys and memorabilia aren't going anywhere, I'll still buy tickets when I can, I'll still be here listening to home and away game broadcasts on am radio. We've put countless dollars, time and effort in to support this franchise year after year just hoping and wishing that ownership finally comes through on their promises that "this year will be different", yet it seems further away now than ever. Forgive us for maybe being a bit bitter, when all we've known and experienced is failure and incompetence. |
