What if Halifax would have traded for Roulens over Reynolds durning the trade period ? So far since the trade period Roelens has been on fire and Reynolds has been far below expectations and is currently injured . Chances are we could have got Roulens for similar value as Reynolds . Oh well looking ahead rather than back Reynolds should be back from injury soon if 2 weeks was his expected time line Any more word on MacPhee ‘s injury time line or severity ?

I think its more important for this trade that shows Halifax and Saint Johns and do business. I do not support the Reynolds trade, I actually am not a fan of the player. As for saying it would cost a similar price Im not so sure it was, if it was I think thats what it would have happened. I think Bathurst had a high price on Roulens, I would say two picks, look what they got for Henneberry, I think they had a price they wanted and would not move from it, and good for them to sticking to it. Reynolds just seems disinteristed in even being in Halifax, maybe he will come back with a new mindset after the injury. I know he has the skill to be a difference maker but so far I would have been okay keeping Fournier, and I was not really a fan of Fournier.

Yeah Bathurst wasn’t playing around this trade period.
They gave away Henneberry, Arsenault, and Higgins for tremendous value.
Reynolds brings both smarts and leadership, he’ll come around, I think he’ll play well alongside Dumais. But he hasn’t looked like the same player he was with Saint John thus far but he’s a point per game guy with the Moose so far.
Midgley has to figure out what role every player can play and what situation they can play in.

2 big games this weekend SNB (lower teams always give us a hard time), and then Cha again who we beat 4-0 last time may want revenge. Hopefully we have some bodies back.

Excited for some home games again.
On another note, I am surprised how little was said about the Drummondville + Victoriaville win last week. So many people have doubted the teams ability to compete with Quebec teams and then they pull off a back to back win against some of the best teams in the league. Especially, because I think if they would have lost people would have kept going on and on about how we wasted assets in the trade period and how the team is just not good enough. Plus we were missing Reynolds + Dumais for both games. Plus Drummondville was on an insane winning streak and beat BC the night before 5:0. Plus none of the games felt like a lucky bounce allowed us to win - both times we had the games relatively under control. I just think this deserve WAY more positive words.
