I am not a Fan of these , 2 games in less than 18 hours but the Schedule is what it is . Gonna be interesting to see the Lines after , Thursday Night's Science Experiment . Nothing less than 4 points will be acceptable . Look for the Goalie Tandem of 1A and 1B , Ruccia and Milota to split starts ......and once again our Lovely Weather in Cape Breton will affect Attendance ......Lotsa Rain all day today with possible flooded areas and a Flash Freeze Overnight .

Another big one at the best today - should be a better crowd maybe ? Such bad luck lately with storms when eagles are home but hopefully today we can build off last night and pick up a crucial 4 points
I noticed Titan have split up the top line of Orr-Roelens-Huggan Huggan now on the 3rd line. Shouldn’t change the game plan to much today
Go Eagles

Milota has had a rough last 6 games stats wise he's soon to be 3W and 3L in his last 6 starts while allowing 4,5,3,3,3 and as of writing 5, not sure if he's just tired or if the team has just been playing poor defensively in front of him lately.

You can’t spot teams 2-3 goals and that is what happened again with him in net. Call it like it is. Now, was it a defensive display tonight by the Eagles, no. You need those saves, like he had in the breakaway. Passing was not crisp today. They had opportunities for 2-1 chip plays all night but I’d say less than 5% worked. They need to attack with speed and get the puck to the shooters, scorers. You need to get the puck in the hands of the guys that have been producing. That didn’t really happen tonight. Moncton is also struggling and got hammered tonight by Charlottetown. Good teams have bad games. This is junior hockey.

There is something not quite right with this Team , I am not sure what but I have been watching Eagles Teams since Day 1 and I quite can't put my finger on it ......Talent ......Chemistry ......Goaltending .....Coaching .....I don't know but it is not meshing together . Anybody with a theory let us know ........if u think it was just an off night , don't bother .

You can’t run a guy who plays that style 20+ mins a night and get the max out of him. Romeo looked exhausted tonight. At this rate the way this team runs it’s big dogs…we will have nothing left in the tank for playoffs.

I wasn't at the game today I was home sick listening to the radio so I don't know what goals he spot the Titan today, I was just making an observation while looking at his stats the last number of games while I was listening to today's game.

No different then the goals Bathurst spotted us last night. You need to find a way to be up 3-1 in that game, before the spotting starts. Both goalies deserve a round of applause for the wins they got us this season

Another Reason that Yesterday's Loss upsets me is that they wasted a Sunday Afternoon with a very nice crowd , especially when it was very cold and there was more ice outside the Rink than inside . Just when you think this Team might be finally be turning the Corner , they "ALWAYS" seem to spin back to what they are a Middle of the Pack Squad hovering a handful of games above 500 .

Just when you think this Team might be finally be turning the Corner , they "ALWAYS" seem to spin back to what they are a Middle of the Pack Squad hovering a handful of games above 500 . Here is why it should drive you crazy: After years at the bottom this was supposed to be a stretch of "setting the table" for next season. We bought the following veterans for this season: Charles-Antoine Lavallee for an 11th rounder Zach Biggar for a 2nd+3rd. He had more production at 17 then he does here as an overage captain. Tomas Cibulka for 2 2nd rounders (where is the offense?) Cam MacDonald for 2 2nd rounders where basically every stat is worse then last season when both on a rebuilding team and on a contender. Rather then finish say bottom 5 last year and end up in that Bathurst/Charlottetown area of the standings this year we paid a ton of valuable assets to be less then 10 points up on those teams. While we're also 10+ points from the top 5. Sly has made some bad deals in that he's brought in rentals who havent produced up to par minus 1 guy we brought in from the local Jr A league for an 11th rounder. The league vets with expectations? Basically all disappoint. And I managed to do that without even bringing up the big pre-season addition who has 1 more goal then I do over the last few months. But you can't discuss flaws without certain people jumping in and making excuses so if this keeps up and leads to a round 1 exit I look forward to hearing about how its all perfectly on track for next season.

Valid points. The old expression, if ain't broke don't fix it, comes to mind for me. Experiments and changes in the stretch run of the season led you to a 3-6 record over the past 9 games. Everything from PK to D men playing forward to running guys too much. A 4-1 game sat night and Lavallee hat trick was more important then the game on Sunday. This time of year needs to be about the details and a progression plan that leads directly into next season.

Everything from PK to D men playing forward to running guys too much. A 4-1 game sat night and Lavallee hat trick was more important then the game on Sunday. But its been broke for years. So you have to try different things to try and fix what is broken. There's times here where people think having 2 good weekends means everything is fixed. This has been a .500 team since day 1. Most good traits we have seen developing (team D, goaltending) are offset by others (all those vets with worse numbers than last year in a league where you expect to see at least some progression or even similar to last year) Go back and read the early season notes where the constant bad starts were being noted. This team has huge flaws and even though its added leaders and spent assets to add veterans...there's times where you wonder where all the veteran leadership is as this group should have it and a lot of the time it doesn't feel like it does.
