My only commment is that you can't use the excuse of the music or the videos or horns as the reason why you don't even try. THose are only between plays. I thought your supposed to chant and cheer during the play? So the players can feed off your energy? Not an excuse but, almost every time the crowd starts the chants the off-ice staff starts the canned "Go Cats Go!" recording that is completely off timing and essentially shuts the crowd. After so many times, some people give up. Correct me if you think I'm wrong but last night's game was a lot better in terms of "spirit". We were actually allowed to cheer and chant without being interupted all the time. Nice change.

Also, I lost count of how many times they played "slow songs". Especially before a power play. Also, there was a time when they were playing two songs at the same time. Either way though, big improvement.

I don't think it was so much anything the DJ did or didn't do ... more a matter of the buzz building around this team ... still unbeaten, playing at home against a team that most pundits picked in pre-season to be one of the top contenders for the year, and our kids showing no quit and posting a big come from behind win - you know, if the Cataractes really are among the best teams in the league (and I think they are), we really handled them pretty well - other than the 5 minute PP in the first, the game was pretty one sided in our favour in terms of score, shots and territorial play ... this team is slowly looking less like hot start and more like for real ...

I was thinking the same thing. I thought we would be 6-1 after lst night. The only thing that really impressed me with Sha was their PP. It was awesome. They moved the puck extremely well but 5 on 5 we did very well against them. I am still more cautious about the Cats but it is a good sign. We'll see what tomorrows game brings.

I noticed they were trying out some new goal songs last night which is great. The first song they used was Tribal Dance by 2 Unlimited which isn't a bad choice. The second and third songs were Money Talks by AC/DC and Better Now by Collective Soul. Neither of those are really goal songs. The fourth was Whoomp! (There It Is) by Tag Team which is CLASSIC ;D I'd be happy with either of the 1st or 4th songs they used.
