This is a possible "trap" game for the Cats after beating Cb and SJ last weekend. Agreed. This year's home opener aside PEI always seems to get up for games against Moncton over the past couple seasons. They'll have even more inspiration tonight to try and prevent the Cats from setting a new Q record.

Refs were HORRIBLE on both sides. Congrats to the Cats for setting a Q record

How did Nadeau not get the first star in that game? He was the best player on the ice and the only reason PEI was in it after the first period. The refs were the most relieved people in the arena when Moncton scored the 2nd goal. They would not have awarded a PP after that supposing somebody commited murder out there.

Yeh but as of late it seems like each year they get more and more shitty. Soon there will be no one at the games to watch them due to the reff's imo with all these stupid rules its making the game into a p***y sport hell you look back in the olden days no helmets or nothing and now with a little hook or a hold its a 2 min minor hate this new hockey shit. No excitement at all

No excitement at all For this year, since the Mooseheads aren't gonna be contenders anyways, so I am not be focused on the reffing, unless it is absolutely terrible- guys getting hurt because the ref allows the game to get out of hand for example.

Nadeau should have easily been first star. Without him, it's not even close, even considering the lack of effort from the WCs for most of the night. As for the officials, Murphy should not be allowed to ref in this league...even with a second ref. The guy reminds me of Cory Cassidy. Brutal on both teams.
