hypothetically, 3 regulation ties keeps the streak alive Actually no. The current streak is "most away wins to start a season". A "regulation tie" isn't a win, so that streak would be over. However, there are the questions of "Most games (total and away) with at least one point" that can be discussed, but that seems to be a little more of a grey area sa far as record-keeping goes.

This is what I think If Lane plays, take Pettersson out
Lessard - Cameron - Eagles Brown - Sill - Brannon MacAusland - Stephens - Lahey/Famin Pettersson - Bissonnette - Lahey/Famin
Out : Lane, Roski, Bell

Lane will probably only play against Drummondville (Marcoux) but not against Quebec or Montreal as they have no tough guy in their lineup.

I would dress him against Montreal because they have a few guys that play dirty and like to throw borderline hits...Fillier and Grenache immediatly come to mind. Overall it shouldn't be too bad of a road trip considering they're flying up which will save them a 12 hour bus ride and also the fact that they've had only 2 games in the 14 days prior to the trip(against the worst team in the league) they should be well rested. I predict a 4-3 overtime win vs Quebec,a 4-1 win vs Montreal(they're still the fog devils ) and finally a 5-3 loss to Drum'ville with an empty netter

I can't help but think that if Lavigne starts for Quebec, this will be somewhat of an advantage for Moncton. Majority of our players will know where to shooot having done so so many times last year in practice. Patrick Roy is a very smart man and with that, I see him starting Jonathan Roy against us.

The guys shooting on Lavigne last year in practice were the same guys who for the most part couldn't score all year in game situations ... while this year we have one of the top offenses in the league ... maybe our shooters have improved!

The first start for goaltender against his former team seems to provide extra motivation more often than not. I would be starting Lavigne.

Don't expect Lane to play in any of the 3 games unless 2 Forwards get hurt or illness.
