Hopefully the injury to Jodoin isn't serious. Now, will Bell get in his first game tomorrow if Jodoin can't go tomorrow?
I am so proud of this team and the way they played thus far. If you would have told me back in August, that it would take this team until November 15 to lose a game in regulation.. or that we would have 18 wins after the first 21 games.. I would have told you that you were crazy. But hey, just because this streak is over, doesn't mean another one can't start.. still 47 games left. ;D

Oh, my bad. Who were they playing? I hadn't realized he had played yet. Edit: Just looked it up. A game in PEI back in September. I stand corrected.

This was my first opportunity to see the team play as I now live in the Montreal area. I along with many of the fans sitting around me where astonished at the play of Riopel. He played a great game and if the team had showed up they would have won, for sure. Yes they lost and the streak is over but they made mistakes, had no drive, caughed up the puck in the Cats zone over and over. They certainly did not play even an average game and Tardif was weak on the first goal. They may lack experience but the effort was not there. They were outplayed by a team who will be close to the top next year, give them a good goalie ( or one more year experience). Hope tomorrow's game will have the team in a better frame of mind with a strong effort and have them start a new steak over again. Maybe a few Quebec poutines will help the guys feel at home ...... Good luck and I'll be cheeering them on. Rick

FYI:
Bell is not on the trip and has not made a lot of the road trips.....they will simply be short 1 d-man if Simon can't go. Not sure why Bell has not been making the trips.

Thank God they're playing in Montreal, where flights from Moncton are reccurent daily. Specially with an afternoon game. Imagine if it was in Rouyn-Noranda!

They could have also called up Cadet for that game.

The Wildcats should protest the non called icing and the ref not blowing the whistle on drummondville's winning goal. not a good way to end the streak

The Wildcats should protest the non called icing and the ref not blowing the whistle on drummondville's winning goal. not a good way to end the streak THose items are not protestable ... simply the Referee's (and linesman's) opinon ... and for all you know they were the correct calls. Don't believe everything Gerry Greene says. While I'm disappointed in the loss .... I'm glad the streaks are over ... now they can stop worrying about those things and just play hockey.

A little off topic. I heard Mr Patrick Roy was in attendance for last night's game.

Well you knew they had to lose eventually but that is not the way to have it happen. I hope Jodoin is not hurt. That elbow would be worth a 3 game suspension if it was the NHL now. Do you send the tape to the league or would that be a complete waste of time? I wasn't able to watch the game last Saturday, but was Gingras the guy that elbowed Jodoin? If so, he got 3 games. www.lhjmq.qc.ca/lang_en/index.php?page=232&id_nouvelle=1921
