Lots of pressure by the Cats in the last moments, but couldn't tie the game. Well we come home with 2 points out of 6. I have to say I'm a little disappointed, but it's their first big test of the season and hopefully they can take some positive away from it.

Well they made it interesting at the end, but hopefully the Cats learn their lesson after this one....if they aren't the hardest working team on the ice, they are a pretty ordinary team. The coaching staff has a nice stretch of practice time this week, I'm sure that message will be reinforced.
On the plus side, I thought Domingue was pretty solid. I'd like to see a replay of the third Montreal goal, not sure if it changed direction on him.

I didn't see the game today and only saw parts of the game last night but I did see all of the Quebec game so maybe you can blame me for the two losses. Am I disappointed that we lost to Drummondville and Montreal after the emotional win in Quebec? Yes. At the same time the Cats have technically lost two games in a row before one of which they were outworked pretty handily so I have no doubt that they'll will bounce back from this. It's been a while since there has been a home game so I'm already looking forward to the game Friday PS - For all you complainers don't you all wish we had more players headed to the meaningless exhibition games known as the ADT Canada/Russia challenge so a handful of Cats could be playing their 4th game in 4 days?

At least you guys don't have to bitch about the "blown" icing call in the Volts game that snapped your streak. It's definitely over today anyway.
Great streak. Nice job. Now let's see how they respond after a 2-game losing streak in regulation.

I watched all of the game on Friday night but did not see any part of the other two games. So as far as I'm concerned they have still yet to lose in regulation I'm not disappointed to see the streak end, there will simply be less pressure on the team now which is never a bad thing with such a young team. So we went 1-2-0-0 as number 1 in Canada, can't say I didn't predict this would happen.

Jodoin will be out 7-10 days or more with a concussion, so he'll probably miss the games vs Bathurst on Friday & Saint John Saturday. I wonder if Cats will use Bell or maybe even call up Downe also.

I could care less about whether we have players playing, or the game itself. What would be interesting... a series of games between the Russians and Q teams. If the Wildcats were playing a Russian team, than there would be something to get excited about. I haven't found any kind of allstar game to get excited about in any league yet. I know, it defeats the purpose of a prospects game, but it would create a lot more interest.
