It was great to see Stinz showing the great wheels and getting chances galore but I think this team really needs Luke Adam back here to provide that element of puck control, composure and playmaking that wasn't evident on Friday night. I realize that many players had first night jitters but the Halifax team will not offer the skill level and systems that they will face this year. You can teach systems...so just because Halifax has less talent doesn't mean they cant play systems. Halifax will be out-skilled in 95% of their games, but they wont be outworked very often.

Lala, I'm thinking of Moncton and Danny Flynn's very aggressive forecheck and defensive system when I mention systems as well as some of the very efficient and effective power plays that the Eagles will face this year.
I have to agree with you about Halifax's effort because they actually outworked the Eagles early in the game with their forecheck and then battled back in the third after falling behind by 3. I've said that I am one who expects Halifax to actually be better this year.
