The Kid is from Nova Scotia...........we should all be proud he is going to the show. He has excelled a at every level.........I think he will score some goals for the Bruins.

I love Marchand. He was so bad for Halifax, it allowed Gatineau to keep their energy to easily sweep them and then go on to win the Cup. Thanks Brad! May be Sean Avery will say hello and good by to forest gump in the same game LMAO

I thought Marchand was a good junior player and now has a promising pro career. Not sure how long his call-up will last but I hope he makes the most of it and learns from the experience which I hope is a good one for him

I think that this maybe his time to make it and if he listens and does what they want him to do he will be alright in Boston...Some teams he would never have gotten a call this early...

You've got to give the little bugger credit, he showed well in training camp and pre season, has been a goal a game guy in Providence so far this year and was responsible for starting a brawl in his last game against Portland.
I'm sure he'll be an agrivating little shit while called up and may very likely put up some points, love him or hate him you have to give him credit for what he's accomplished.

Mr. lala you are using awful stong words! I do not ''hate'' the kid, but have no use for his immature antics when he played Junior hockey ! End of comments on him.

It appears the Bruins are doing a better job of putting him in his place than his junior teams did. The fact that they called up Bodnarchuk to Providence after the Moosheads got knocked out of the playoffs and didn't call up Marchand was likely a statement that he would have to clean up his act.
It may have opened his eyes to the fact that he is now a very small fish in a very big pond. From everything I've read the Bruins have been pleased with him and his development, he wouldn't be where he is right now if they weren't pleased with him..

I hope your right 1994. I see where the Globe stated that Ryan Hillier has been reasiged to Hartford, so I guess he was in New York for a while ! Never heard anything about him being with the Rangers.

I wish Brad all the best and hope that he makes a good impression so he could find a place to play in the NHL full time.. hopefully it will shut all the people up that were saying that he will never play in the NHL and barely make it to the AHL.. people should be proud cuz he is from Nova Scotia.. All the best Brad!!
