After the Shea and Crossman experiments, Quebec is going to stop taking our troubled draft picks. They got both at a discount, so not a big loss if they don't work out. Exactly. Boucher can get a 4th-5th for Crossman I think. Still happy about Beaton though. |

Well, when we drafted him, allegedly we were the only team he was willing to play for. Then, when he was unhappy with his icetime at Xmas of his rookie year, he demanded a trade, and, allegedly, the only team he was willing to waive is NTC for was Quebec ... Now Quebec has thrown him to the curb prior to the playoffs ... Looks like Mr. Crossman has some growing up to do, and if he wants to play any hockey higher than junior A in the future, is going to have realize that he no longer holds the cards and will have to open his horizons to playing wherever the Remparts send him ... |

Ryan Salvis has been named co-head coach of the Dieppe Commandos. Frederick Roy, who was an assistant coach last season, will be the other co-coach.

I'm not sure how you work a co-head coach arrangement ... somebody has to have the final word. But ... good for Ryan Salvis ... should make a good Coach and I'd like to see him get into the Wildcats system in a year or two. |
