Also, anyone know why Sam Courcelles is nt in camp? Being a 6th rounder I thought he would be here for sure.
Game 2 today takes place at 5PM!

Correction on Latal. Apparently he is not hurt...but broke a skate He's cetrainly entertaing to watch. The few shifts he had looked good. He looks faster this year than last but likely because there were a few slow players out there. Morrison sure looked ready today. Matty Lachaine had his hands full a couple of time in the circle against Morrison. I don't know who Blue 30 was but he had a few good shifts as well.

The game tonight wasnt bad. There were two fights...both happened within 5 mins of the 2nd half. First one was Koopmans vs Mclean...wasnt that great of a fight...Mclean ended up on top of Koopman was over in about 10 seconds. The 2nd one was Manson vs Deighan....this fight also wasnt that great and didnt last long...Deighan hit manson and he went down. Koopman went to the bench after his fight then about 5 mins after that went to the dressing room and never returned. Walker got hit with about 15 mins left in the game by a puck to the leg area and went off the ice about 5 mins after it happened so not sure what is going on there. Really liked watching Kana and Morrison play together. McIver was playing well tonight and I liked Schmidt as well

Sorry to burst the bubble but MacLean kept the mitts on. It was Manson in both fights.

Actually it was Brendan Wright and MacKenzir Koopmans in the first fight and Manson and Deighan in the second one

I was only there for the first half of the evening game but there was more intensity in a rec league game than that. Pathetic. Walker,Morrison,Southern played well. Gervais I thoguht was awful and for a 20 Swit is terrible. Souther put in a decent performance as well. Out of the non-veterns only Deighan put in a good effort. I think Manson will be a good addition next year. I was hoping Koopmans was going to turn out to be the big physical presence that we sorely lack but he is terrible and from all accounts can't fight a lick either. Be interesting tonight against the Foggies who always put a physical effort in.

With all the returning players, and the limited spots available, the intensity level is bound to drop. Really, how may spots ARE available? FWs that are a lock to make it and some that are in contention. LOCK: Kana Morrison Latal Walker Doyle Locke Paynter Lachaine McKinley These SHOULD be the remaining players to finish up the FW's. Cliche MacLean Street Main Manson--? Dman:Lessard Southorn Gervais Clow Swit Malouin Deighan IMO, the team was pretty much made unless a kid comes in and really impresses.......as Paynter did last season.

Was Jason Malone at camp? I didn't see him there and was wondering if he is still with the team.

Do you really consider Paynter a lock? They do sorely need his grit but from what I have been hearing his spot isn't etched in stone. I sure hope he does make it though.
