The rocket played a pretty decent game this evening in Summerside. Some players I was impressed with tonight were Kris Schmidt,he has some very good offensive skill but may be alittle small to be very effective at this level. But I beleive that he could be a good asset for the rocket this upcoming season.Another player I thought played well was Brain Main,Although small he plays a solid game and plays bigger then he is. All together I thought that most of the players played to what I expected with a few let downs..but they were mostly from the guys that you dont expect much from. But from what I have seen so far we should have a pretty decent team this year giving our returing players.

Cliche had a pretty good game too and again was also impressed with Schmidt...thought he played very well.

I thought that Wright was the worst player out there tonight.... no speed or effort.

Yes I agree, Cliche played very well and looks to be abit faster and more confident then last year.

I thought that Wright was the worst player out there tonight.... no speed or effort. Worst player out there was Alex Clermont... ruined any chance he had of challenging Mosher for the backup spot.

Clermont did play bad,but he is a goaltender and he would be facing alot more pressure then Wright. But yes you do have an arguement there.....he did play very bad...but I never expected him to challenge anyways.....Wrights play really bothered me.

god it is so hard to watch pre-season hockey. you are so pumped to get to a game and well we all know......
I thought both teams were awful tonight. a handful of bright moments sandwiched between way too much sloppy, bumping into eachother play in the neutral zone. Southorn's hit on the first 5 on 3 was the highlight of the night for me. He is going to be fun this year i think.
all and all the true star of the game was the Wellness Center. shit.... nice digs. I actually stood in line for a coffee and was still able to watch the play. nice.
charlottetown to summerside isn't THAT much of a drive. ummmmm..........

Now questions:
How did Clow play? How did Kana play? How did Deighan play? How did Street play? How did MacLean play?

Some parts of the rink I liked and others I didnt, I find the glass very high, to clear it u have to sit like 3 rows from the top of the rink.. I did like though how there is only one thing of glass in front of the penalty box instead of 2 like ours. Didnt like all the concrete though, certain areas u would sit right beside it and wouldnt be able to see to the other side of u...if u were short. On the side I sat on the seats weren't all the way down to the glass, there is space to walk around at the bottom...dont really like that all that well. Bathrooms are huge which is nice and like the canteen set up. Didnt like how u couldnt pick where you wanted to sit, they gave u a option to pick a section then the computer did the rest..
