The P.E.I. Rocket announced on Sunday, that they have cut 4 players from their Training Camp Roster. The four cuts include: defenseman Mackenzie Koopmans and forwards Nathan MacQuaid, Chad Cameron and Chad McQuaid.
Four players have also left camp on their own will. The four players that have left are goaltender Alex Peck, defenseman Pierre-Luc Martel and forwards Michael Moher and Harrison McIver.
That leaves the P.E.I. Rocket with a total of 33 players remaining at camp; 4 goaltenders, 9 defensemen and 20 forwards. This total does not include forward Chris Doyle, who will be returning to the island from the Ivan Hlinka memorial under-18 tournament in the Czech Republic on Monday. “Upon Chris’s return we will give him a few days off to recover from his rigorous schedule before asking him to report to camp” said Yanick Jean, head coach of the P.E.I. Rocket.

I am wondering what's going on with the CEGEP deadline, which I thought was the 20th.
Seemingly, that should affect Quebec kids still in camp (not including 16 year olds, though we don't have any 16 year olds from Quebec). Piche, Coon-Come and Morin (is he still here) should be affected by the stiuplation. I can't see both Piche and Coon-Come on the final roster (maybe Coon-Come, not likely Piche).

Can anyone tell me the status of Jordan Burke? IS he still there? Has he been playing? Burke played in the game last night. He is a big kid, offers a pretty good overall package and didn't necessarily look out of place last night. However, for the Q level his skating isn't quite good enough and with the speed of the game kind of seemed a sec behind in his thinking. He should get another opportunity to play again tonight but likely won't make it past the next round of cuts. IMO I don't think Burke will ever play in the Q but will likely be a very good Jr A player.

Just wondering what the thoughts were of the D, if you consider that the top four spots are taken without question between Lassard, Southorn, Gervais and Swit, that leaves three spots left to be rotated amongst the rest. The issue I see is that Malouin may not be to happy to rotate once again in and out of the line-up being that he is a second year player and feels that he paid his dues last year. I don't see a problem with Clow and the seventh, actually I see Clow being number 5. Like I said the top four are sealed and delivered and the others are not going to touch them, the last three is were the issue lies, especially with Malouin, any thoughts.

I would have the D as this.......and i think some agree.
Lessard-Southorn Gervais-
Clow/Swit-Malouin/Deighan
By mid season, I think you'll see CLow on the 2nd pairing, and Malouin and Deighan swapping spots in the lineup
