They did have 3 A's last year for awhile. Tyler Hawes wore one before he got traded. Guilbault did for a awhile too i believe....... Now that you mention it, yes he did....

Does anyone else see Lachaine getting some consideration for an 'A'?
He is the longest standing Rocket at this point. I don't know how outspoken he is in the room or what his leadership qualities are like, just wondering what other peoples' opinions would be.

Its possible I suppose. I honestly don't think Doyle should get an A yet. Hes still very young and does not need that extra pressure. I think Its safe to say that Morrison and Lessard will prob definitely get a letter. After that its anyones guess.

Personally I would like to see Gervais or Lachaine get the 2nd "A"

Someone I'd like to see get an "A" based on his effort is Latal, but I don't know if his team mates see him as a leader. He plays hard every shift and fans really appreciate the effort.
As for Doyle I agree another year to mature is in order.

The P.E.I. Rocket is proud to announce that Pierre-Luc Lessard will be their new Captain for the 2007 – 2008 season. Lessard is a native of Thetford Mines, QC and was a 4th round draft pick of the Ottawa Senators in 2006.
“When we acquired Pierre-Luc we knew that he was a great leader. It is his 4th year in the league and he knows what the role consists of. He is one of the most appreciated players by his teammates” said Coach Yanick Jean.
“It is an incredible honor to be named Captain by a great organization like the Rocket. I don’t want to change my style of play because of this, but want to be a leader, on and off the ice. I want to show the younger players how to be leaders in the upcoming years” said Pierre-Luc Lessard after hearing the news.
The Rocket has also named 20 year old Brett Morrison and 19 year old Benoit Gervais to the roles of Assistant Captain.

Nice to see Gervais get on of the "A" as well Both Lessard & Morrison would have been great choices and both will be leaders regardless of which letter they wear. Congrats to all 3 and I find it interesting they were all acquired from Gatineau.
