Not sure if this has been mentioned but Cavendish Farms has put together the Cavendish Cup. It will take place during the two games vs Moncton on Sept 5 & 6. Team with highest combined GF will win. Interesting.

It's always great to have someone latch onto the rivalry between The Rocket and The Wildcats. It would have been half decent to see it in the thick of the season when both teams will have their full rosters with no players in Pro Camps, but i'm sure it will provide some excitement to say the least.
What is the prize though? Do the players of the game get a bag of fries? A tour of the production plan in New Annan? I am interested to know.

They should make it worthwhile, have a prize that means something. .....like a draft pick or something.........or perhaps free select seating for the other team's fans on road trips during the year......or free passes at Angies?........ Now THAT would make the games meaningful! The plot thickens...

and of course the Rocket drop the ball and do not promote it at all. I notice in the paper today that summerside is advertising GAME 2 at the wellness center.
another small chance for the Rocket to put their name out there and perhaps get some more interest in our team wasted.
