in order to be successful you can't have your best players being abused or having to stand up for themselves and spend that time in the box. That didn't happen when Bonneau was around. I agree, but it takes a hell of a lot more then that. It's important, but obviously it didn't help much in Bonneau's last season. If we had Bonneau playing this season or a similar player, and we were a bottom tier team, it would not matter. The place would still be empty. Yes but it would be a lot more entertaining

Attendance started going down in 04-05, while Bonneau was still on the team. The team was poor, missed the playoffs. Success is the key to attendance... it's not that complicated. Attendance was up in 04-05, not down
