I still believe that means he can be affiliated does it not?
As a local player with good skills having him as an affiliate is a good move.
But IMO I don't think he should be with the team for the full season. At least not ahead of MacLean, Street, Coon-Come and there would likely be little playing room behind.

I don't think that MacLean is all that good. but Coon Come is and street never really seen much of him. Nathan seems he can handle him self pretty good on the ice thats for sure. It will be interesting to see what cuts are made cause its going to be pretty hard to cut some of these players cause right now a lot of them are playing awesome hockey. So it will be interesting to see the cuts that are made really hope wright stays with the team and paynter.

From what ive heard Street is in PEI to stay this season as well...they want to develop him.

From what ive heard Street is in PEI to stay this season as well...they want to develop him. Good to hear. I like his skill, and am glad that the kid will be around the QMJHL game this season......rather then being sent home. As I said on the Moose board, I would rather keep a young kid like Street with this team, practicing multiple times a week and going up against guys that are highly skilled. Hanging around the rink, the weight room, the daily activites of a Major Junior player, rather then sending him down to possibly develop bad habits. I admit, that I was expecting a bit more from him in camp, but thats my own fault im sure. Expecting to much, to fast. I like this decision, and it's one I really believe helps kids develop. |

Also herd that if wright was willing to drop the mits etc he would be staying with the team. Just what i herd though
