Rocket BBQ Saturday at Mall

Are any of yah's going?

Most of you probably know about it, 12:00-2:00 at the Ch'town Mall.

I hope I dont get called in to work, I think it would be fun to met the players and enjoy a nice BBQ.

I was at the ball game they had last year, that was pretty cool and fun to see the player's without their uniforms.

Hubby and I went. Got my jersey signed by all players in attendance. I do wish more season ticket holders would have been there. Great weather for the BBQ and nice to see the players sitting at a table making it so much easier for us to get their authographs.

I could suggestion better promotion of the BBQ which in turn would put the Rocket in lights at such events. Signs, posters, having jerseys/hats for sell so that those that want could buy and get signed off right away, radio station on site, and the mascot. He has been there at past events, not sure where he was today.

Boys could also be wearing hats beside a jersey.

They could also wait till the whole team is here as well. not a good time to have a meet and greet with the last cuts.

ahh well, next year they will likely charge extra for it.

That was just stupid something that is suppose to be for the season ticket holders is for the general public that's why no one prob went. Don't get me wrong its a good idea but don't put it as its only for season ticket holders cause that is just a lie

the bbq portion was...you had to show your BBQ pass or whatever you want to call it...i think it was an ok move to put it at the mall and get other people involved with it...people that could be sitting on the fence as far as purchasing a season ticket...not that an autograph would seal the deal but at the same time you never know
