That was the slowest breakaway from the defensive blue line I've ever seen. I'm reminded of the Robert Brooks Madden commercial from many years ago where he screams at the programmers "That don't show my breakaway speed!"

Jacques is the worst Mooseheads defenseman of all time.

Jacques is the worst Mooseheads defenseman of all time. I should hope so. He's our lowest draft pick. Murphy isn't bad. That was a beauty tip.

Jacques is the worst Mooseheads defenseman of all time. Why would u say that? The kid is a rookie and hasn't played a lot. Give him a chance.

Jacques is the worst Mooseheads defenseman of all time. Really?? JF Brault didn't enter into your thoughts ... or perhaps Poirier?? No Pierre-Luc Bacon??

Solid win even while missing some key guys. We may lack depth and it might hurt us in the next round if we aren't healthy, but our top guys are second to none and capable of winning games big on their own.
Now we wait... it will be Gatineau or RN we know that, depending on how the other series' pan out.
edit: Forgot about the DR/Victo series, which means we might get Victo too if Moncton came back to win as well.

WTG boys, See you next weekend looks like it could be Gatineau all series should be over by Sunday if Moncton doesn't force a 7th game. Cape Breton was eliminated tonight, and Bathurst is down 5-1 after 2. Everyone else is at 3-1, with Game 5 in two of the series scheduled for tomorrow night to keep an eye on.

thanks for the clarification. lets finish this series now to avoid any more possible injuries. Your welcome. Just wanted to help clear up any confusion. Hopefully the Mooseheads can wrap this up tonight and move on. The more rest the better for the next series. Heal up any of the bumps and bruises. Of course, Andrews, Ashley, and Hardie are out with serious injuries. isn't Andrews day to day?

Pretty sure Andrews and Hardie are as much injured as they are resting. Eases the blow of Ashley if he is in fact out for a few weeks.
Hopefully we can bottle the depth scoring we had tonight. Game was over early, but never hurts the confidence for guys to pot a few goals and help the team. Nice Weegar finally shot the puck. He's so good at creating lanes, but passes too much.
Joe Groleau takes the prize for worst dman. Jacques? why? because Sprong danced around him like he does everyone?

He's an adventure every time he's on the ice. Nearly every d-breakdown in this series, certainly Game 1, was a result of him. C. Fitzgerald and Taillefer were heads and tails above Jacques in training camp. It's a mystery he survived the first cut let alone made the team.

Fucale gets the leather jacket. He did really well in the 1st period stopping a couple really good chances. Could've been a different game if one or two of them go in.
