Or 4 or 5 guys who can play the game but are big and add toughness. Not fancy skating prima donnas, guys that will hit hit hit, but that can play the game.

Best of Luck to Gatineau , whoever plays them next will have a fight on their hands . Right now , the biggest thing puzzling me is an 8-9 matchup should have been a lot closer . Did something happen to the Room ? I didn't expect to win but did anybody expect this ? Very Puzzling .....

Best of luck to the Piques in round 2.
piccasocat and stooo - thanks for being good sports and not bragging this up to much. Do not shy away from this board in the future whenever you feel like contributing to the discussion.

Anyways, I wasn't really expecting anything at all these playoffs, the next 2 years will hopefully be good ones. We'll see if Hache or Darcy are back next year, see if Evgeny Svechnikov reports, if not try too draft an impact euro, etc. Brighter times ahead.

We can come to crazy conspiracies ( and who knows maybe they did ) but at the end of the day Gatineau is just the better team. I do understand your point though. Nobody expected 4 ass beatings in a row.

Toughness will help and is a huge bonus on all contending teams but to say that a tougher team would have changed the end result in this series is crazy. This team went from last in the league to number 9 and you are still going on about toughness. Toughness and depth will ( should ) be added for the contending team ahead but would not have made much of a difference in the final result for this year.

WE NEED A GODDAMN ENFORCER! Nobody would be running and beating up the goalie if we had a dedicated, great and intimidating enforcer. Even somebody like Millman would be good. Enforcers are virtually useless unless you can get one that can actually play which is rare. This is 2014 QMJHL not 2001.

Hull is likely to draw the Moose in round two. Should be a great series. George Davis could play. He had one of the best vertical leaps I've ever seen.

George Davis would have made sure Dunn never did half the stuff in the Series that he pulled off .

What a guy. in 2000 we had a whole goon line. If the times are going tough the enforcers do make the time go by. Only piece missing was that crazy Romanian that Hal keeps eluding to.

Dunn vs. Morencey would have been a fun match-up to watch lmao. Speaking of 2000, I doubt the Eagles get swept if St-Germain is in nets. The Eagles obviously played poorly but it's tough to get motivated with the goaltending performances Bureau and Fortin put up.

Can;t see them giving up on Bureau .....some people might think that is crazy but I think he gets next year to prove he is a # 1 in this League .
