I seem to recall the 08-09 and 09-10 seasons where our playoff attendance was so great. Come to think of it, neither was the 10-11 season.
Some non-Mooseheads fans seem to forget we have had a few lean years. I am curious why that can't enjoy the fact that of any team in the Atlantic Division, surely the Mooseheads deserve the last three years.
When this run is over, I suspect you will see a lot of Moose fans hoping our club continues its winning ways, while secretly wishing good fortunae on PEI and Cape Breton. Obviously they are due, and I have a real soft spot for the Eagles (just don't tell them).

Good luck to both clubs, let's hope for fast-paced, clean, tough hockey!! What do yo mean good luck? The Moose don't need any luck - they're going to kick some Pique ass! Indeed, this should be a good series and I expect it to go in six. My only wish is that both clubs stay injury free and no one gets hurt. Whoever comes out the victors will have earned it. There is also some incredible talent behind the benches, and this will be fun to watch as well. This is going be a fun time to be a fan. I've got the Moose taking this one 5-4 in an empty net - it's going to be this close all the way through. Gatineau going with the bold new strategy of pulling their goalie with a 4-4 tie. Lets hope this risky play doesn't pay off.

For round one, I though the attendance was pretty damn good. 8000+ each game is nothing to sneeze at when everyone knew what the outcome would be. Everybody likes a winner.....if you were on the receiving end like Charlottetown was, it would have been different. Someone suggested Bobby Smith was not happy with the attendance so wanted the round two games blacked out. I was saying that 8000 is plenty of fans for round one. The argument had nothing to do with why we had good attendance. Maybe try reading all the posts?

Did you want to argue?

Not sure what is going on with Telus, but this is officially the worst quality webcast of the year......when it is blown up to full screen you have a hard time to make out the numbers on the jerseys. hard to believe they are charging for this crap.

As long as folks keep paying for it, they will keep charging, very poor quality for the price! Did it once, maybe again if they dropped it down to a dollar.....

Great game... everytime someone had the puck, it seemed like 2 Gatineau guys were rushing them. We really had to battle to get open ice, and countless passes that looked like they would connect were tipped away on both sides. Considering how gritty it was, when there was a scoring chance for both teams, it was usually a great one. Both teams misfired on a lot of their best chances.
Drouin is unbelievable. I would pay admission just to watch him play at this point. He just controls the play every time he touches the puck. He had a fake-puck drop between the legs move at the blueline that drew ahhhhs... just slick and creative and so fun to watch. Stickhandling back into the zone on the PK, turning and hitting Ryan up the wing full stride was awesome.
And that 3rd goal doesn't get any prettier on a 3 way passing play with Gadoury tipping it in from the slot.
Ehlers was ok.. had some chances on the outside, but I think the intensity and tight play threw him off a bit. He will adjust though.
Even the fourth line with Vuic and Connor generated some chances!
Great team effort, you could tell they had to play out of their comfort zone with the hard skating Gatineau team, but they came through and never got rattled.
