The Antigonish Junior 'A' Bulldogs have signed a veteran defenseman from the OHL today.
Adam MacArthur is a 19-year-old defenseman from Newmarket, Ontario who played last season with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.
Adam is 6'3" 215lbs who recorded two goal and three assists with 112 penalty minutes last season in 55 games.
A stay at home defenseman who is not afraid of the rough stuff.
Adam was involved in the Walker/Boivin deal. Rocket traded forward Alexandre Boivin (1988-05-25) and a 6th round pick in the 2006 QMJHL draft to the Gatineau Olympiques for P.E.I. native Geoff Walker (1987-02-19) and seventeen year old defenseman Adam MacArthur (6'2" 190 lbs).

wonder why he'd play in the MJAHL but wouldn't even try out for the Rocket?

Unsure.........but you would think he would be worth a look at least, especially since they gave Little a look.
He has major Jr experience...55 games last season, and has decent size too.
Being 19, he would bring some experience to our young D.
Only thing I can think of is if he is gonna head to St.FX............

It would be a good idea if the Rocket could take a look at this Dman. It would be nice to add a little more experince back there. There is a chance that he is attending St. FX. though. I liked how Main looked on defense in the exibition games.
