Have to think Shewfelt will be on the top 2 lines. The kid can play, and he proved it in the playoffs with limited ice time.

That shouldn't be taken as a slight against Falkenham. It is hard to gauge at this point how much that rather serious injury will hamper Falkenham's game next season, particularly in regards to speed and agility.

Meier - Gadoury - Ehlers Ryan - Fortier - Falkenham C. Moynihan - D. Moynihan - Shewfelt Watt - Leblanc - Vuic Vokey Murphy - Hardie Lovell - Jacques Fitzgerald - Ford Taillefer Fucale Brais No way they keep a 19 year old on the 4th line.

Yup, some of these posters are forgetting there's a draft in June. Apparently NONE of them are going to make the team lol.

I'm assuming Leblanc. Vuic can actually play for a tough guy. I can see 10-12 goals from him next season. Fighting aside, he plays a simple game, stay within himself knows what he can and can't do.

yeah i'd say Vuic will definitely be on the team.. and definitely be on the 4th line.. and definitely be 19 meaning once again Billy is definitely wrong

I think some people forget how good Ryan Falkenham is. He's a big addition. Yup, some of these posters are forgetting there's a draft in June. Apparently NONE of them are going to make the team lol. Also think people are just working with what we're currently given haha. The team doesn't look terrible pre-draft, so hopefully post draft it'll look great!

Falkenham took a step back last year, that was before the injury, he had hands of stone for the part of the year he was healthy and was not playing well defensively.

To be fair mooseinfo, for about the first 10-15 games of the season, none of the Mooseheads played very well. It wasn't until after Jo was back for a week or 2 that we started getting into the swing of things.

Shewfelt showed/did more to advance during that timeframe while Falkenham could do nothing.

I'm not entirely convinced Vuic will make the team next year. Leblanc is a long-shot imo.
Meier - Gadoury - Ehlers Ryan - Fortier - Falkenham C Moynihan - D Moynihan - Shewfelt
Those should be our top 9 forwards barring any trades.
I think they're going to try to develop some younger players this year so I could see:
Watt - King - Vokey Vuic - rookie - rookie
We usually carry 14-15 forwards so it will depend on if 2 '14 draftees can stick.
Murphy - Hardie Lovell - Jacques Ford - Fitzgerald Worthen - Taillefer
Fucale rookie

I would also be more than happy to see Lussier kept for now just because D is where the problem is and its easier for rookies up front with one of the 3rd line to 2nd.

Ok Could be a scary first line, solid second and good bottom 6. Maybe a few spots in the dee that could be upgraded. But maybe Murphy take the torch passed from Konrad to Max. Fucale who feels he let the team down with another chance. When you set it up like that Cory.......might be another good year. Yep! Could potentially win the Maritimes Division for the third year in a row depending on some variables (if Svechnikov reports, who replaces Bureau, what Sonier does at the draft etc.). I think enthusiasm might be getting the best of you. It would certainly take over-achievement to win the Division again. Ducharme is capable, but you need to look at what we lost not what we have if your going to make an assessment of how we will fair next year. Moncton and CB, in particular, gave us fits all year, lost very little, and have some high picks. Even PEI gave us a hard time, and they will only be better and they have a boatload of high picks. We lost alot of offense, Drouin is arguably the best offensive talent in the country, and he was in on half of the Moose goals in the games he played. That is significant. Weegar was an absolute force out there and was considered one of the best D in the Q. We lost leadership in Andrews and Ashley(scoring as well). We will only keep 2 of Ryan, Lussier, Hardie and Caimpini. You weaken the Fwds or you weaken the D. Depth will ultimately be our Achilles heel. We essentially could ice 2 scoring lines last year, that will not be the case this year, and Gadoury and Elhers will be targets on a 1 line team (1 line in terms of scoring). On D, too many holes to fill, too much inexperience. I look forward to the development of younger players and will temper my expectations.
