Oh I am well aware a rookie wouldn't bump the top centre! I didn't really put them in order of position I just kind of put them all there as who I would think would be on the team.
As for the O/A's we really won't know much until training camp gets closer and the NHL draft is over.

I would have Farrell making the team over Legere as a 20 but it will be close. I would say that neither Hache or Darcy will be back so that would leave both to make the team. With your projected lineup you have 4 20's. Brassard is a 20 remember. Deschamps will be on the 1st D pairing guaranteed. I would also not be surprised if Sullivan beats out Fortin in camp. I would say that you are spot on with the Bishop line. Camp is still a bit away and there are still FA's that could come in so this is a little early but that is what these boards are for. Discussion. Wow Looneytunes you really got a big hate on for this Fortin kid….. Not sure what he did so wrong last year 16 wins 3 lost and some of those wins (8) were when he was with Rimouski with a solid team in front of him and another (8) wins with our team and his last 6 games all wins GEEZ I'm confused what's the problem not bad from what I saw. Let's be honest we were not as strong as Rimouski and he still managed a decent record. As for the playoffs well I guess you can bitch about that but again there when a team gives up almost 7 to 8 goals per game with my experience in the game I would be looking at the complete team for that flop not just the goalies. And to top it off you say you believe Sullivan will take Fortin to the garbage at camp WOW if I go by the stats for the last 2 years there is no way you can compare them go have a look at the stats for yourself just on the victories Fortin was top in the league when you compare him to the other #2 goalies this year and honestly I believe if he was given a honest chance he could compete with the other top goalies but we will never know as we have Brassard coming in this year and I hope to hell he performs better than he has the last 2 years in the playoffs with incredible teams in front of him he flopped he even got pulled last year for the 5 and decisive game against Rouyn did not even start the coach went with the rookie, his NHL team Ottawa did not even provide/offer him with a contract decided to go with other goalies in there system back to the draft this year for him ooops maybe he looked good during the regular season but has fallen last two years in the playoffs and this with very respectible teams in front each time, oh well Dumont knows what he is doing with all the draft picks he will make sure we have a competitive team on the ice. Okay , you like Fortin. We all get it. I said that I would not be surprised if Sullivan would beat Fortin out for backup position. There are two possible reasons Dumont acquired him. 1) For security in case the deals fell through for the #1 he wanted. 2) To create competition for Fortin for the number 2. Combined with the fact that he was inconsistent in about half of his games as an Eagle this year. The D and Bureau was too , I know. The fact still remains that he was shaky. I also do not know where you get that I said Sullivan will take Fortin to the garbage at camp. I never said that. Are you implying that all of Fortins competition is garbage? If that is the case then what you are saying is way worse then what I said. I also do not have a hate on for your guy Fortin. I tell it how it is. Can Sullivan do much better then Fortin? Probably not. Still would not change the fact about how surprised I would be if Sullivan does get the #2.

Looneytunes, GEEZ you are really reading me wrong here, it's not the fact that I like or do not like the Fortin kid. I'm doing like you say ( Telling like it is from the way I see it and also with the stats that I found on the QMJHL site) I love the way you twist what I say to try and make it appear that I'm being negative HA! HA! your good but the facts are the facts and the fact that you say Fortin was inconsistent in half of his games WOW I guess the last 6 he was just lucky right oh well and I guess the 25 wins and 7 losts since he has been in the league for the last two years is also just luck right HA! HA! HA! oh well your entitled to your thoughts and so am I and from what I saw the guy was not inconsistent as you say if he was he would not have those kinds of numbers if you would like I can point out some numbers for you on the Q site for you to review

Goaltending upheval again? I cannot follow what this guy is doing with the goaltenders. IMO, last year was just a carousel of goaltenders. Jacob Fancy was nor invited to camp last year but he gets an invite this year, while Gabriel Forcier, the guy we traded Leonard Francis Mayer for, is not even invited to camp? Hope this problem corrects itself soon. I like waht Dumont is doing with the team, with the exception of the goaltending issue.

Prostar, learn to use the Quote tool properly, and... he doesn't need to twist anything to make you seem negative. You're the one using bold, underline and capslock and putting words in the guys mouth.

Just pointing out he never said Fortin was garbage or whatever, he just said Fortin will have competition to make the team, and that he's been inconsistent... both statements are pretty true. If CBSE were happy with Fortin they wouldn't have went out and acquired Sullivan, and Fortin got blasted for 13 goals at one point did he not? The whole team was inconsistent defensively last season, but the Goalies were the worst for it.

I like what Dumont is doing as well but honestly if you follow his pattern you will notice it always seems to be a goalie issue were ever he goes. I said this earlier in one of my posts go take a look at the game tapes you will notice in the defensive zone we are not very strong we have a hell of an offensive team that's a given, but there are two ends of the rink and a team has to learn how to play just as much in there zone (defensive play without the puck) to have success even the Moose with Drouin and Makinnon were incredible on the offensive side but man did they ever have one hell of a defensive as well. The puck possession time that the Moose had did not give most teams a hell of a chance and I can guaranty you Fucale looked very good on certain evenings with the players in front of him, now do not think that I believe that Fucale is not good far from that but with all do respect a team that has as much success as the Moose had was not because of just one player and there defensive play was incredible so maybe instead of just changing the guy behind the mask as Dumont is doing maybe just maybe having a look at the defensive side of his playbook may just help him have an even more succesful team… Just a thought!!!

Wow Raimu your bang on my friend 10 or 13 would have to look at the Q site but I guess you really do not know the game that well do you. I remember a goalie by the name of Fucale starting in the net against his hometown of crowd of Rosemere and after 4 shots the opposing team had 3 goals but the coach stuck with Fucale and showed confidence in him and the final score was 8 Moose and 5 Blainville incredible what a Mackinnon and company can do to a goalies confidence. The 13 or so goals was the first one on the road just after being traded by Rimouski to the Eagles and he had what one practice with his new team WOW we fire that out there but we do not mention that his next game at home he wins and gets first star after 30 + shots and the next game 30+ shots again the team gets a win but hey we will not talk about any of those games incredible how we do not dissect the game a little more and truly analyze things no all we say is he is inconsistent 8 wins 3 lists but hey he is not consistent oh well…...

Why do you get so offended when someone says something negative of Fortin? If I recall you also gave long rants in response to posts by Jack Bauer about Fortin?
I say that I would not be surprised at all if Fortin gets cut and you go wild.
You say I was twisting words when I did no such thing.
Anyways , looking at the stats only he has managed to pull out far more wins then losses which looks good for sure but he was inconsistent when you do not look at wins. He looks like an elite goalie based on wins. Basing a goalie based on wins is iffy because it does not show how he played. It can only be inferred that he played good enough to hold his team in or our offence had an outburst. Being lights out and then being lit up means he was inconsistent. The defence was bad without a doubt but it does not really change the fact he was inconsistent. If you want to see how he played behind a contender look at his play in Rimouski and Quebec. Much more consistent/ better then here but still hot and cold.

Hey, no need to take offense. But between that game and the entire series against Gatineau, there's been issues with the team keeping the puck out of the net. Maybe the defense sucked, I don't know, but at the end of the day some of that has to come back to your net-minders. Obviously the organization wasn't happy with the goaltending or else they wouldn't have acquired 2 new goalies who both can play in the Q. I'm not saying Sullivan will 100% beat him out in camp for that spot, but, he's being challenged for it.

OK good point with some of the blame has to come back to the goaltender. i guess this touches to close to home as I myself am a ex goalie and it just seems that we seem to always use the goalies as scape goats when we look back on things and that touches to close to home as I have always said even if I get a shutout and was bombarded by 30 + shots I'm not the type to say hey were the hell was the rest of the team as I would not have done it without the team but there are a lot of folks that ready rain on the goalies when they have a bad game as for a player well hey there are 5 of them on the ice but no way we say anything there ok ok so I guess I'm just trying to make a point we did the same thing with Trudeau, Bureau, Marchand etc etc just seining back protecting the goalies…...

I just find it hard to swallow when folks who have not played the game can come up with all these comments but truly do not see it from our point of view and yes for the record I believe the Fortin kid deserved more than what folks are throwing at him as his numbers and some folks I talked to have said this guy is very competitive but unfortunately never been given a fair chance to show what he can do and if you ask me in the playoffs yes the goalies have to take some of the blame but I can tell you that after the second game in Gatineau it was a lost cause as the team was not going in the same direction

Darcy just got drafted by Tampa Bay so he'll probably be in Norfolk next season.
