A lot of your players played they had the flu. Rocket came on in the end again but too little too late. Sea Dogs seemed to make most of their chances and I don't think you can blame either goalie, your defense left them hung out to dry. The too many men penalty was horrible, you had 6 guys on for at least 7-8 seconds without anyone noticing and the crowd was screaming. Only player who seemed to show up was Latal, he was awesome to watch.
ps. Dido takes over the scoring lead in the Q away from Morrison.

I don't buy this "flu" excuse - not at all. Ain't that much flu going around right now, it's the wrong time of the year, by several months. Let's see....we had two horrendous efforts to start the season, then two good efforts, now two more horrendous efforts. Spotty goaltending, lousy PP. Feel sorry for Valeclava, who went to Saint John for the game. Maybe the Rocket will make it up to him tomorrow nite. ....maybe not..... But anyway, those who are expecting a coaching change soon are going to be disappointed. Not gonna happen - Serge McDuck is nothing if not stubborn. Well, if it was printed in the paper this morning, before the game, I personally am going to believe it. And I know you're no Dr. Oh but I am.

Fire the jack ass now!!! If the Savards cheap out and keep him it will hurt in the long run, fan wise....
Then when they leave because of lask of support, it will be "We really don't understand, but we just don't have the support...."
Actually fire the other king of jackassery Connelly at the same time and really turn this franchise around both on and off the ice...A pair of monkeys could do better....

I know of quite a few people here in Moncton who had the flu over the past week or so. It doesn't have to be flu season for people to get sick.

There is no way a flu lasts 3 weeks, what other excuses can we come up with for the past games. Fact is there are no excuses for losing, not this year! This team has enough depth that some players, if indeed are sick should be able to stay home and recoup, and our team should still be competitive. From what I seen this year, this team is not competitive, and something needs to be addressed to get us on the right track. Whether it is a coaching change, a captaincy change, or whatever! I do know why this team is not performing, and I do not know how to fix it.
They are just like the Yankees, shit start to the season, but they were too good to stay shit for long. I have no doubt the Rocket will make the playoffs, but the question is, will they win enough games, or be competitive in enough games to keep our island fans interested!

Only has it pertains to the starts of their seasons!!! It's not like the Rocket are capable making the playoffs 13 years in a row, well with this playoff system, they just might, but that is a whole other discussion!

No, it doesn't have to be flu season for people to get sick. But for a bunch of healthy young people to get significantly sick in the same way at the same time, there has to be some sort of epidemic going around. Not happening right now. Irrelevant, anyway - if the players are too sick to play, then they shouldn't be playing - there's a large roster right now, the games don't mean much, so play the rookies! Ain't no flu, folks!

Flu/no flu...whatever....it's still a loss. Not sure how people can be so certain if there is a flu or not without actually talking to the team or being around the team.
