NO more whining. Lets go to the game like we all intend to do and cheer the guys on. If you want to look like some punk boy band member !!!!!!! then go ahead and wear your jersey inside out. I suspect you will spend more time explaiing your fashion statement and why you are wearing the jersey inside out then you will spend watching the game. Time to move on. Lets start a new thread. Is that you Yannick. Every one of your posts has been defending that idiot. Were not whining, were tired of cheering for a team that has never put forth a serious run for the cup. Hell they have never gotten past round 2, even in MTL. Whining is not what were doing, were getting pissed at this team when they can't get their shit together. Go observe something else because you obviously can't see a damn thing about hockey. Just like Yannick Jean.

I have never defended Jean. I just haven't benn beating him down all the time. I can see that you are quite passionate about this. Ultmately it will be up to Serge to make the right decision. The way I see it we can complain all we want on this site. Someone had a better idea of sending letters to the Rocket management or the Guardian if you feel that you have something legitimate to say rather than FIRE THE COACH. Starting to get old.

I think it must be Mr. Gary Connely Wrong again. Season ticket holder since day 1. I am just expressing some of the sentiments that are discussed in my section with fellow fans that have been season ticket holders for at least the last 3-4 years. Yes I agree that Jean is a major problem but the guys have got to step up and start playing as a team. To many one man shows on the ice. I can appreciate that the boys need to have impressive stats to impress the scouts but they need to remember that you get the same point for an assist as you do a goal.

Definitely Glad I went to the game. It was right decision to show up for this high scoring and entertaining affair. The protest was a bust but the guys picked up a win. Good thing I'm not superstitious or I would have to keep the jersey inside out to keep the winning streak, one game, going.
Nice to see a big crowd in the owners box. They sure seemed to be interested in what was going on on the ice, not watching golf.
And so ends this thread that started as a tongue in cheek remark. If nothing else it was fun and I got myself a new Jersey.

Woody had on his Remps jersey last night and the team won. Said he would wear it the rest of the year or until the Rocket lose at home again....bless his little superstitious heart. ;D ;D

Never saw Serge in the lobby at all before I went in, so ripping the tickets up in front of him wasn't an option. ;D On a completely different subject, this win was more about the players gutsy performance than it was about the coaching, IMO

On a completely different subject, this win was more about the players gutsy performance than it was about the coaching, IMO Um.....Coach Jean can't win, can he? When the players seemingly aren't motivated, it's his fault. But if the players ARE motivated, as they evidently were last night, well then, that has nothing at all to do with the coach. You can't have it both ways.

You can't have it both ways. Where did he say that the players being motivated last night had nothing to do at all with the coach? I didn't see those words anywhere in that post, the only thing they said was that the win had more to with the player's performance than it did with the coaching. Players were up for the game and were prepared for it which does go back to the coaching, but Jean was still doing his usual things behind the bench. Not playing the full bench, playing the crap out of 2 lines and stop forechecking when they get the lead which is how they gave up so many 2 goal leads and almost cost them the game. Sound familiar? It should because that's what he has done for the past 2+ seasons. They got the win in an entertaining game that was good to watch, and give the coaching where credit is due, but that game could have very easily have been a loss for the Rocket. I think Jean is far from out of the woods yet.

Lay off the coach already! If the player can't get motivated, they should play another sport. This is Major junior, the stepping stone to the NHL. If they hate the coach they should play well in spite of him instead of whining and sucking on the ice. The only people they are screwing by doing this are the fans. Lay the blame where it belongs....the players, or , at least, more blame on them.

Lay the blame where it belongs....the players, or , at least, more blame on them. Is it the player's fault that 6 or 7 forwards & 4 defensmen are played so much early on in the game that they are too tired when the 3rd period rolls around? If Jean is not to blame for the players not being motivated, why is it that almost every other coach in the league is able to make sure their players are motivated and prepared to play? I agree that players don't have to like the coach they are playing for but there has to be respect going back and forth between players and coaches. Is it respectful for a coach to sit a player on the bench the whole game or only play him a shift or two? In the past NHL head scouts have commented how they are glad that their drafted players are not playing under him anymore, even heard an NHL scout comment how none of these kids will make the NHL with the way he plays them. I'm sorry but hard to lay the blame on the players for that.
