OMG these Hali announcers are homers. Voracek bunnies too. Sayin Smith has never lost a fight and Latal takes dirty shots at guys all the time. Also sayin Voracek is so smart because he talks to the players. Come on! These guys make Cory look good.

Bot of an odd game tonight. PEI has low number of shots but more goals in first....kinda reversed in the second. Hali is a gooood team and PEI just can;t generate any offense. Lafleur really showed up in the second, Could have been much worse if not for a few huge saves.
The onlt notable player for PEI today is Paynter. 2/3 of a Gordie Howe hattrick.

6-3 with like 8 mins left in the game...looks like we are going to lose this one. Unless we somehow manage to get 4 goals in the next 8 mins

Started out ok tonight, but as we got further into the game, more and more individual play. we really need to do something about our own zone. I am not sure what, but its a mess. I am not sure what though. Our 17's all saw decent ice tonight, and their play was no worse than the vets overall. Do we upgrade on vets? Do we trade away some youth for some more skilled vets?
I really don't know what the right choice is.
I know we need to move out a forward or two ( I won't mention any names) and get some more top scoring punch.
On the bright side tonight...liked Southorns game, and Paynters...and Lafleur stopped a pile of pucks that were very threatening, whch I believe he needed for his confidence.
Noticed Mo back on D on the PP again....that just does not work. We needhim down low. You can tell hes out of his comfort zone back there.
Other than that....not much to comment on. Tough night!

PEi is much more effecitve when they're hitting and they just didn't do that tonight. With Cliche, Walker, Main, Payner, Kana... they should be physical but backed down tonight. What's up with Lafleur?

LOL what was the final score in that game anyways 4-3 for the good guys i think. The Moose are a very strong team after the way they handled the sea pups i was for sure the rocket would totally get out played and they did by the end of the game. Its too bad for the rocket after that big win Vs Quebec Meh they will come around lol We hope
