Wow neither team can hold a lead, Deighan's shot gets deflected by Kana. 4-4

None of the Rocket goals are by the big 4 (Walker, Morrison, Latal, Doyle). Nice to see.

It looked like they played well but statistically it doesn't. Outshot 46-32 and 0-6 on the pp. Not sure what happened during that time out in the 3rd, but after that it looked like Victoriaville had the puck in the Rocket zone alot and at times it seemed like the Rocket were shorthanded.

Walker-Mo-Doyle Kana-Coon-come-Latal Gallant-Lachaine-McKinley Paynter-DesRoches-Cliche I actually like the idea of moving Doyle to the wing as I always thought his style suited there much better. Although if you are going to do that, you move Doyle with the plan to keep him on the wing for this season and next, something Jean isn't doing he's simply ramdomly juggling lines as usual. But if you go that route I would like to see: Walker-Morrison-Doyle Kana-Lachaine-Latal McKinley-Locke-Gallant MacLean-DesRoches-Paynter 1. After he has some time to adjust I think Doyle would really complete that third line which we have been trying to do. 2. Lachaine has been playing great hockey of late. He is fast enough to play on that line and is a good set up man. 3. In all fairness to Cliche he has had his chance to show what he can do and in 12 games with lots of ice time he registered a point in 1 game. Time to make some changes and give other players a chance. 4. I was a big Coon-Come fan since training camp and had him pencilled in on our 4th line. If he was to stay with the team he would get in their over DesRoches IMO.

A line of Lachaine-Latal- Kana would never finish anything

A line of Lachaine-Latal- Kana would never finish anything Latal has 7 goals in 10 games (the league leader has 10). And Kana has as many goals as Doyle and Lachaine has 2 with significantly less playing time and he is the setup guy anyway. I agree that they aren't real scorers but I think the line would work. Otherwise move Doyle back to 2nd line centre and put Lachaine as the setup man on the top line. Either way Walker & Morrison can't be expected to continue with only 2/3's a line.

I might suggest something entirely radical re line combinations
how about splitting Walker and Morrison up (except on the PP of course) and creating two very serious scoring threats? I find Walker is overpassing the puck this year and not sniping to his potential
for arguments sake what if we tried
McKinley- Morrison- Latal Walker- Doyle- Gallant Kana-Lachaine- Paynter MacLean-Desroches- Locke

HF99, I know we can't tell by just three games, but from what I did see, I would rather see Coon-Come on the 2nd line over Lachaine. Lachaine is a decent 3rd line center......and having him on the top line as you suggested is just as bad as it was having Cliche on it. Walker is the top sniper on the top line (even though his stats show 5 goals). Mo is the playmaker. They need to find someone who can help Walker by putting the puck in the net. Matty is not the answer. They are trying Doyle now, as he, like Walker, is a sniper. Coon-Come on the 2nd line looked decent in the 3 games that he played............but what this team really needs is to go grab a top two line player that can help those lines out.

McKinley- Morrison- Latal Walker- Doyle- Gallant Kana-Lachaine- Paynter MacLean-Desroches- Locke Those lines look fine actually.........then again where's Cliche and Coon-Come (who could be here after Ho Ho comes)? Obviously at the deadline, Savard will make a couple trades, and as I stated a couple days ago, I can see a few players be shipped. Lachaine Cliche Locke Malouin are players that I feel are on the "bubble" of being traded/
