It would be absolutely stupidity of Dumont to go back to Brassard on Sunday . It would be but we all know he more than likely will, and he will more than likely tank. It doesn't make sense that he won't give Sullivan a shot. He may be a bit erratic and get out of position at times but he NEVER gives up on a shot and plays with heart and passion. He gets excited when the team scores, unlike Brassard who looks like he could care less. It was much the same in our end tonight, scrambling and blindly throwing the puck up the boards or through the middle and turning it over. This team needs some defensive structure but at the end of the day a win is a win. Hopefully this will be the start do something positive.

What you described in Sullivan is a good backup goalie, nothing more. Give him 1 start, give him 30 starts, it doesn't matter. He isn't the answer to the Eagles goalie woes.

Good to see theteam pick up the win. Thought Hinds had a good game, at least he put some effort into his game. Sullivan deserving of his first star selection, made some big saves when needed.Sure hope he gets the nod again Sunday. Bell took two consecutive lazy penalties in the first period and never saw the ice after that. Thought Leveille and Smith also had good games as well, other than scoring the empty netter, Clark Bishop was pretty much invisible tonight.

Sullivan really never gives up, he usually makes the most out of his starts, always battles hard.
Hinds showed more in one game then Darcy did in manyyyy games to be honest, he got stoned on a breakaway, had a nice deflection for his goal and also was a part of Farrell's goal.
Bell was not on his game at all today.
Leveille continues to impress me this year.
I wish we didn't go so defensive once we get the lead, the third period was a disaster, if not for Sullivan making some huge stops we'd be singing a very different tune after this one, it felt like the collapse was coming but he managed to hold on for the win.
Dumont and the guys need to figure out how to keep applying pressure when they get the lead.

You gotta figure that Mr Cote had to notice the small crowd last night , unusually small for a Friday Night .

What are Pelletier and Svechnikov's injuries? I heard that Pelletier has a broken wrist and Svechnikov hurt the knee he had the operation on during the off season.

Does anybody else think the Eagles could use an upgrade in goal? Sullivan had a great game last night but his positioning was pretty shaky for much of the game. I think brassard should be dealt but not sure we would get much back.

Lol I guess I only looked at the third page when I was reading this, first time here. I'm kind of surprised this team is where they are in the standings because on paper they are a much better team. I think their lack of physical play and their goaltending is holding them back. I think the addition of Hinds will help moving forward but they still need to make a few moves our defense could definitely be better.

I like Bell but i think one of the best things this coach ever did was sitting BELL he will be a much better player Sunday because of that move!

You gotta figure that Mr Cote had to notice the small crowd last night , unusually small for a Friday Night . Games like last night will put fans in c200. Why are some of you guys so negative about our team? If you guys are Eagle fans then i see why we are not doing as well as expected from a fan point of view we need to back up this team .
