I watched Jacob play against the SJ Vitos MAAA last night. He does appear to be a Connor Garland clone. Small, shifty, and a bit cocky (having lots of confidence may not be a bad thing). He even has the Garland "stick swirl" when he enters the circle for a face-off. Haha. The Wildcats have a real prospect there. I agree. He(Jacob) demonstrated that he wants to have a spot in the Cats line-up from now on. Certainly hope he gets that opportunity. Kids like that deserve a break in my view. but do the cats really want to take him away from the flyers when they have a good chance at going on a run and to the telus cup?

Noah Corson will be joining the team after Christmas I think Jacob will stay with the Flyers. I not positive but I think Moncton has an agreement with Jacob and the Flyers to keep him there.

That was what was the tentative plan when he went down hurt longterm. He has no where elsento play that would challenge him.

Lalonde gets 1 game for the cross-check or is that just up there because it's automatic and could be added on to?

When he got hurt early in the season ... his MAAA team refunded his money because he was going to miss so long. He has no team to go to really. Shannon mentioned quite awhile ago that the best option may be for him to join the Cats to work out ... not really to play.

He's spent 2.5 years in MAAA, heck he even played some games there at 14 also, they are better off promoting him.

Ridiculous if true. He should be up with the Cats and quite frankly having him in the line-up makes the team better. We've seen that on multiple occasions this season now.

I'd send Duquette back and add both myelf. Corson is not ready for the Q, he's tiny even for MAAA.

I'd send Duquette back and add both myelf. Corson is not ready for the Q, he's tiny even for MAAA. He doesn't have many options at this point. I'd rather him with the team than sitting out the rest of the season. Even if it's just for the practising and working out.

Hodge confirms three things in newspaper. First Jacob will remain with Cats till end of trade deadline where they will decide whether to keep him up or send him back. Second, Corson will remain with Wildcats for rest of season to rehabilitate and train under Graham Black. He may or may not see game action. Third Duclair will be returned to Quebec after World Juniors.

I suppose it will depends on who gets traded or sent down to see where he fits.... I just don't know where he would fit.. not a checker so the 3rd line's out. too skilled for the 4th line....... it will be interesting that's for sure. I'm sure we'll see corson in the line up for a game or two, even if limited action, just to test him out. unless his rehab goes wrong.
