It wasn't pretty but 2 points is 2 points. Very important win, we need to actually start winning a few in a row though. Svechnikov is unreal... same with Dubois, that line could've had 4 more goals, legit. I agree. They were legit sick tonight from what I saw. Svechnikov was just exploding with skill all night long. Assists, 2 goals, drew a penalty by undressing 2 players then getting hooked. Plus a boat load of other chances. And Dubois is just insane for his age. I never expected him to be as big of an impact as he's become this season. Insane hockey IQ for a 16 year old.

It was Hinds - Dubois - Svecchnikov most of the game if I'm not mistaken? A few shifts though I thought I recalled Svechnikov and Brunelle together? Not sure who the 3rd was.

Entertaining game tonight, glad to come out with the two points.Very impressed with the new guys,LsBlanc is a real talent, plays with a lot of heart. Anderson looks like a cagey veteran, know how to play the game, good effort and scored a goal.I thought the difference in the game tonight was the goaltending ,in reverse. The Eagles were sailing along and Sullivan let in a couple of softies and it was game on.On the other end, Brandon Whitney was a rock in the third period, he must have stoned our guys on about 8 or 9 golden opportunities in the third period, we could have easily had 8 or 9 goals tonight. What a show the Farrell, Dubois and Svechnikov put on in the third period. Every time they were on the ice Gatineau never touched the puck.Svechnekov is a real rank out there and young Dubois just keeps getting better and better.

Hopefully he leaves them together . We gotta learn to play 60 minutes though .....that's on the Coaches ......right ? I think it's still really hard to say. In the Fleury - Houle - Pavelec - Roy days with the same roster as tonight, I'm not sure the score ever gets that close? With the goal tending we've gotten so far this year I think its safe to say that it was back up / relief at best. Gone are the days when our goalies would skate into an arena and legit "steal us the 2 pts." If we have a solid starter who was proven all season and then we let our back up ( Sullivan ) play tonight, I think we chalk it up as a solid game where we came out with the 2 points where our back up let in a couple weak ones. But then on the other hand. I'm not sure how much the "timing" is relevant to it all. We've had less than stellar goaltender all year, however, it seems like the weakest ones always go in when we "have a lead" or in crucial stages of the late 3rd period. So all in all I don't know lol and I guess I didn't answer your question.

I said it earlier but Dubious is the best player at 16 since Sheppard! The kid is the best 16 in the Q.

Went to the game tonight and i thought the team played very well. When one considers that several players had never played together let alone had a practice i think they did very well more importantly we won by a goal rather than losing by a goal we should all be happy with that result. As for goaltending there was one goal that sully may have been able to stop however the traffic in front of the net was heavy and i am sure the defence will be told to correct that. The other thing was the number of penalties but to be fair we have not had many in the last few games and again i believe they will be told to play with more discipline but again all stuff we can work on. Just keep winning and one goal is as good as several if you win the game. Very happy with the team and i feel they will have good games over the weekend gaining more points. I would play Sully Friday and give Bélanger the start Saturday as for me i would go with what i know to get the points first as this is what we need overall.

I also believe this team will make the playoffs and may even get passed the first round. Remember where you read this. The coach will be the good guy should this come to pass.... can't wait.

He's an average coach at best. Hopefully your right and he's got a group that works with his methods. All I keep thinking is where would we be with a good/great coach. Belanger should get his first chance this weekend.

Well coaches take a lot of s..t they make changes that fans like and then they make some that fans don't like so much however, time will tell if he is an average coach or a great coach tonight i have seen players passing who would not pass to their line mates before all these trades but tonight that changed and i am not sure the coach was the problem in the first place again time will tell but i believe this team will do well from this point on and yes i believe Bélanger will get his chance this weekend.

Belanger should get his first chance this weekend. Belanger has a very decent defence core in front of him. If he comes in with a strong desire to improve his numbers and the change of scenery works, well that will make a big difference for sure. They are a little weak on the bottom six, but the addition of a 20 forward can't hurt them. The specialty teams were definitely the difference tonight. Dubois just continues to impress.

There are five players before the goaltender and the last three games i don't think anyone can put the blame on the goaltending further more looking at this year we have done well and will continue to do well with the addition of top defence. We need to give the team a chance to gel give the new players a chance to form a chemistry and you will see the goaltending will take care of itself. The last two games before tonight the goal tending was great tonight was also a good game we won and that is what we need to do. Again the weekend will tell us where we stand as a team.

Again the weekend will tell us where we stand as a team. Is that so? Facing Bathurst will NOT tell what kind of a team you got.... A good roadtrip against Rimouski/Quebec/BC would be a much better test. However the Titan might surprise your team on the weekend.
