Oh I see. 9-3 is irrelevant because the teams are ahead of CB in the standings. Makes perfect sense. & now that the PP numbers aren't as bad as you assumed, the problem is the line juggling? You wanted to prematurely fire the coach before he had a chance to address the problems at the trade deadline. He addressed the problems at the trade deadline exceptionally and the teams performance has been excellent... but you have to keep trying to piss in peoples Cheerios because you can't accept that you tried to run Dumont out of town prematurely? Learn to deal with it. I admit, I was one of those who wanted Dumont canned at X-mas. But damn he did a good job at the deadline and the team has been dynamite since. What more is expected around here? Undefeated until the playoffs or what? You'd think that our loss against Halifax was our 6th loss in a row by the way people are reacting.

It's the inconsistent play that bothers me the most. They show stints of greatness and stints of garbage. The blown leads drives fans like me nuts. That's my problem not yours. Its up to Dumont to make this team play consistently, which is why I think a q level coach would have this team top 5 right now.

Playing a full 60 minutes is the biggest issue. Too many 3rd period collapses.
They played well in January but against below avg competition with the exception of SJ and Moncton.
The sloppy defence was the other before the deadline. So many times they were hemmed in or got beat bad by a speedy forward.
Let us see what February brings. Hopefully they keep up the solid results that we saw in January.
I tend to agree to you on Dumont's coaching. Pelletier+Darcy are talented players and I cannot help but feel that things may have turned out differently if we had an amazing coach. Imagine how good this team would be if those two stuck with the team and were playing at last years pace/above.
I feel the other problems I mentioned above would not be as much as a problem either.
Anyways , this is CB and you get what you pay for ala how much money this market brings in correlates to the personnel.
I do feel that Dumont can be doing worst and he seems to have the GM job + scouting down pretty good though to look at the positives.
