I remember I drove up to Halifax not knowing if I was going to be able to get a ticket. I bought a ticket at 6:55PM, thank god. I called and they wouldn't let me buy over the phone but at least they told me there was still tickets left. Most people would have said never mind but I'm glad I stuck it out, it was awesome. You are a great hockey fan. Guru says u should be ashamed of yourself. No context. Don't know a drive up to Halifax is to him. But yeah, I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't within walking distance. Glad it worked out for him.

Anybody have ideas on parking? I wonder if the Canex or the strip malls towards Robie will be tolerant?

I would try the Sobeys parking lot down the road. that may be your best bet can't see them being too strict but not sure. I would park up close to the store walk in buy some game snacks and than walk to the game. You shopped you park and the store will be closed by the time you come out.

But I heard yesterday that the city cleared the snow from the sidestreets off Windsor street by the forum. So we should be able to park on the sidestreets that go between Windsor and Oxford, and even down towards Connaught.

Park in the Burger King/Steak & Stein parking lot. That lot is always empty in the evenings.

I'm told Sobeys has security guards on at the Windsor St. location and intend to ticket people. Apparently this is Sobeys spin on the 'East Coast Lifestyle'. Great community spirit.

OK I liked the charm last night but now I hate this place. Can't see the f'n scoreboard when sitting in the section behind the Cateractes bench and they don't have a remedy for it like Scotiabank Place does.
Edit: Used to it now,and over it. Playoff games at Forum > Scotiabank Place.

The Forum is absolutely rotten, right from the time you spend trying to park your car to the end of the game trying to walk on death trap sidewalks getting back to your car.

You cant blame the Forum for the sidewalks. You sound old and if that is the case, then I guess I understand why the sidewalks bother you. But they are much better than last night.

The problem with the sidewalks is that after the game it took forever getting back to the car, it was just another annoyance of being at that dump.

Would anyone disagree with that? You can't call the Forum a dump (but for fuck sakes they have should more score clocks), and not call the Scotiabank place a dump. It is actually A LOT easier to get around at the Forum, the Forum can handle the capacity much better than the Scotiabank Place can handle the capacity.

Walking through the concourse at the Scotiabank Place is a nighmare. Hell I don't even have to wait as long to use the bathroom at the Forum. The only thing that takes long is ordering food, but really, is that a loss? The food is terrible for you.
