The habs did lollygag game 4. Last night they dominated Ottawa but Anderson stood on his head and Price had an off night. Like Dubeau had off nights in Games 1, 2 and 6. But that doesn't suit your argument The thing is when the Cats had arena issues, they made arrangements and it was never to their advantage. This time Quebec had arena issues and the arrangements made clearly benefit them. i agree. the cats have home ice advantage, so why does a scheduling conflict in Quebec mean that Moncton has to play a day early? ? we should play our dates and let them change their home games like we did without an advantage to us! anyways, that's over with, next game is today, i say the cats come back in a big way. Thursday's game was tied after forty minutes until fatigue set in. Debeau has to sharp again today and i think he will be from here on end..no more mulligans.two pp's in the third for them probably caused by fatigue gave them the game. it will be different today.. GO CATS GO.

If Anderson outplays Price the next 2 games then he deserves to win and not Price. I think Anderson is due to have an off night...120/123 for .976 so far, those are ridiculous numbers.

There appears to be a double standard ? If the League would have allowed the Wildcats -Mooseheads to start on Thursday like they just did with this series , then game 2 would have been on Saturday , with 3 & 4 on Monday and Tuesday in Halifax , then game 5 returns to the Coliseum ( Car Show offered to give up Thursday ) on Thursday , 6 on Sunday in Haifax and 7 on Tuesday at the Coliseum . If the League treated Moncton the same way they treat Quebec , then Game 5 is in Moncton at the Coliseum ! And the Citizens are not out $125,000 ! May I submit further evidence of this double standard that occurred in the second round as well . Quebec was also allowed to move a game because of a conflict . Game 2 against Charlottetown was pushed to Sunday instead of Saturday when all the other Series played because of the Harlem Globetrotters played on Saturday afternoon . This action meant that both Teams only had one day to travel to Charlottetown to play game 3 on Tuesday . Moncton Wildcats , their fans and the Citizens of Moncton are all victims of this blatant double-standard that currently exists in the QMJHL . So u either know for fact or assume u do that: 1) the league was against this ---probably not Halifax was in Moncton on Wednesday night so it would not have been an issue for them though a very short turnaround like Moncton got this round without travel 2) the Scotiabank Center was not committed Monday -- ?? could have been in use or booked or saved for NBL 3) the Wildcats knew they had to play Thursday instead of Friday << I think they actually thought the speed show would bend on the Friday - or they thought they could persuade or make them bend 4) Cats expected a game 5? (arrogance goes one way maybe they thought they would sweep)

Quebec did nothing wrong here. Their building had a commitment. They worked around it the best they could in effort to keep a 2-2-1-1-1 format in place. That their other conflicting event decided to walk away after the fact is of no consequence after the schedule is made. The Remparts given the tight schedule time had all their cards on the table....and they worked a way to play the game in their usual rink around other commitments that were there.
Only Moncton would assume another tenant would bend for them every time they happen to find out they have more games to play.

Well couple of hours to go and I'm bored so I think I will play Arm chair coach. My opinion (which means sfa) is that Garland?barbs and whoever have to shorten their shift times. This team is going nowhere if they continue these 2 min plus shifts and are back out again after 1-2 min rest. As everyone keeps reminding people here, Quebec has 3 top lines to throw at us. When you consider Monctons #1 line and their strong offensive numbers over the course of the year but not so great defensive numbers it's common sense (to me anyway) that if quebec throws 3 strong offensive lines at us and we have our #1 line out there for 9-10 minutes a period which they are, what are we expecting. As I mentioned in an earlier post, monctons 4th line have good offensive numbers and defensive number as well while playing very limited icetime. Roll 4 lines more and by all means in specialty situations do what you have to. I would like to see Garland/Barbs play with their full offensive ability however we are not going to see that when they are up against 3 solid offensive lines constantly pushing them in the defensive zone where we know they have some trouble. Get the best from everyone dressed for this game. I believe they have ability to compete with quebec.IMO

The league jumps through hopps every time the WC make the playoffs and usually the games are still at the Coliseum...conspiracy theories are weak. Beat Halifax in 5 and you have a week of rest, very simple. Beat Halifax in 5? Folks, I think we found the newest contestant for Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader. Cats were down 2-0 to Halifax. We couldn't have beat them in 5. Do the math. He's suggesting a hypothetical scenario that didn't happen and we all know never will. What in the world makes you think that Game 1 and 2 need to remain constant?

In the 3 losses against the Mooseheads, wasn't it Dubeau who struggled a lot?
