What does being drafted have to do with being effective and which linemates you play with? Being drafted means that the scouts have agreed that the player has talent and potential and it's up to the coach to utilize that talent by knowing what the best mix of players will yield the most effectiveness. First time I ever heard of scouts determine what the lines are and how much ice time the players get. Just because a player is drafted it doesn't get them a free ticket, they still have to work and earn their ice time just like anyone else. Latal has a long ways to go if he wants to be a solid pro player.

latal's problem is not lack of skill. and skill is what gets you drafted. but lack of effort, and attitude problems are what keeps you on the bench.

Try reading the message before replying. I`m not pointing fingers at the coach either and I`m sure his coaching tactics are somewhat different from Yanic`s and no doubt some players will have to adjust. Work in progress
