Little doubt Veleno'd go first. I didn't even bother putting him on my list. I have four guys in mind for #10, but I am probably being optimistic that even one of them falls that far.

any update on the current pick? I'm next up after it and was planning to pick before I went out for the afternoon.

Still plenty of time on the clock for the current pick. Send them to Pens. I pick shortly after you, and even though you don't currently have a pick anytime soon after. I'd hate to appear to have been influenced

Tough call on a potential 3-4 year exceptional 15yr old or a top 16 who may even get a 5th year. Bowers is the ultimate wild card.

Bowers is the ultimate wild card. Agreed. I figured he'd go first round, but I'm surprised he went that high.

I'm going to try something a little different this year for the overnight hours.
The regular clock will stop at 11 PM every night. From 11PM-8AM, you'll use two hours from your six hour window.
EG: You're due to pick at 8PM, at 11 you have three hours left. Two of those hours will be spent overnight, and you'll have one hour to pick between 8 and 9. If it becomes your pick after 11PM, you still pay the two hour fee; your pick is due by noon.
This seem fair?

The first round last year took two full days. We finished this year in less than one. Thanks everyone.

If you check before 11 and know you're on the clock, you should be prepared to make your pick in the morning. Another suggestion: if you're on the clock at 8 am, your pick is due by 12, no matter what time the person before you picked.

Another suggestion: if you're on the clock at 8 am, your pick is due by 12, no matter what time the person before you picked. I don't like this only because:
Consider the scenario of coming on the clock at 7:30PM. You let your time go til 11PM, using 3.5 of your six hours, and then you go all night, using two more. You are now on the clock at 8AM. If I give you til noon, you've taken both all evening, and all morning to pick. Your period was really 16.5 hours. This pick SHOULD be made by 8:30. . I like the new set up, because I'm forcing you to either be around in the evening, or in the morning. I know not everyone can do both, but you should be able to check in at one or the other, at least for the week or so the draft lasts.
