I stopped watching a football game to watch the Rocket game and I still was able to see a team lose by a touchdown ;D

Glad that finally over. Today's effort, or lack of effort will give them lots to work on and think about for the next couple days. They need to make a better showing Tuesday against Moncton.
At one point midway through the third Corey commented on the up coming trade period and wondered if the Rocker might be buyers to make a "Run". Gotta be the height of optimism, down 9-3 and thinking about a "Run".

I haven't seen it posted anywhere but I did just get back from the game. Maybe I missed it. I heard a rumor that Brad Richards bought the Rocket from Savard? Any truth to that?

Wow, the Rocket never showed up at all today, especially the D. Felt bad for Gelinas and Lafleur as they were hung out to dry, can't blame them at all. There were many times where the Dogs just walked in with ease around your D. Also, a comment on Doyle, he looked like he was playing by himself out there. He has got some big time skills but he has to use his teammates. Suprised Brad Gallant didn't try to do anything to spark up the team, they didn't look like they wanted to be there at all.

Gallant and THomas even got a PK shift together. Of note, someone taking stats must really hate your goalies, cuz they have us with only 3 DS, when in reality we have 25 DS. Its the guy who does the DS counter in Saint John...its like hes blind lol Howes scoring on a breakaway against Halifax and he didnt give him a DS lol Games played in Saint John always have very few Dangerous Shots counted.

I can only imagine trade period is on a few minds.......whenever the trade period is about to get started guys get a little jumpy.(at this point I wouldn't blame them)...The fans could possibly see a much different Rocket team after Christmas. it is really too bad that these guys can't seem to gel and get it together. If anything I hope Morrison, Lessard get to go to a contender to finish off the year.

Anybody else notice Corey always seems to give the score over and over when we're losing? 9-2....long bus trip home from the stinky city tonight! The only stinky thing in this city today was the Rocket!!!!

I only saw a few minutes of the game on the net after is was pretty well over on the score board.
This morning I took a quick look at the stat sheet for the game. I know its not fair to make comment based solely on the stat sheet but for what its wortrh, based on the +/- it appears some of or top players were on the ice for at 4 or 5 of the Sea Dogs goals. Either they saw a ton more ice time than the rest of the team or they broke down completely defensively.
We need to see a much better performance Tuesday against the Cats. We have 5 games in hanfd against the Cats and 4 against the Devils, but unless we win some of those games we're not getting out of the basement.

Rocket basically deserved the loss.
Winning 12-2 on home ice last year, beating Sea Dogs 11-5 in Harbour Station.
