A friend e-mailed me a few minutes ago and told me that the big rumour at the Quebec/Rocket game was that Antoine Lafleur would be traded to Québec in a three team trade that would have Desfossés (Québec goalie) going to Baie comeau and a player not identified from Baie Comeau coming to PEI.
From what my friend was saying it was more then one person talking about this.

Makes SOME sense for Quebec...as Lafleur will be their goalie next year...but BaC...it makes little sense as Marco Cousineau has shown he can be a good #1 goalie...

Unsure if other players or picks are involved, but if they do in fact add Bourque (which is just a guess of mine) for Lafleur only, I'd be very happy.
Bourque is a 17yr old FW.
Height : 5'9" Weigth : 172 lbs
16pts in 33 games.
He would be a nice addition to go with the Rocket's "other" talented group of 17's. Doyle Southy Kana Mosher DesRoches Coon-Come Deighan
CLow Malouin
MacLean-16 Street-16
Again, if this deal is even true, the Bourque name is just a player that I would like to see them grab.

I personally do not like Bourque. He is overrated and he is already 17. Take Morneau and not Bourque

I'd have to think Lafleur himself with how's he's been playing wouldn't get Desfosses out of Que or Bac's first round pick from last year in Bourque.

yeah i can't see baie Comeau giving up a first rounder from last year for a goalie when they already have among the best defensive record in the Q but if we could land a player 18 or younger with some skill for a back up goalielet's do er up

I think personally you guys are taking a chance by tradeing Lafleur and not getting a goalie back or in another trade.Dont get to much confidence in Gelinas once teams figure him you will regret not getting another goalie.
