It was a penalty but no way was it deserving of a match. It was just one of a few stupid calls he made that night. I don't think he's a ref that should be going it alone, two man system maybe.

It wasn't a "stupid call". It was charging and perhaps high sticking, and he just called it high sticking. The ejection part is a judgment call on the part of the referee, who had a very good look at the hit - and it was a good call. |

A Very good look at the hit yeh Right his head was so far up his ass he couldn't see anything. That Reff was Shit. Not saying they lost the game cause of him but he was shit on both sides. Main Should have never got a match for that hit maybe kicked out for the rest of the game but not a match that was stupidI watched the game and that replay and there was no high stick even close Charging maybe That just goes to show that he has no clue what hes doing . This ref can't official a game on his own he has no idea what the hell he is doing. That goal should have be blown down due to the fact that the Rocket did touch the puck and due to the fact that the reff couldn't see the puck. There was like 3 or 4 high sticks missed. Trips missed This ref was a ass clown on the ice He had NO Idea what he was doing. And if u people think that he did you are blind. Now the boys just lost cause they gave up, they could have gotten that goal back but they gave up. It was a good game until the ref was calling shit. The way this new hockey is going sucks, I hate these new rules makes the game shit and makes them look like p****es out there on the ice. Even in the Nhl Its a shame they are taken the game and trashing it slowing it down Making all these new rules This is not hockey. Not like it was a few years ago when it was good. People that go to the games i see some people half asleep cause the game is so boring why It is I don't know why but the refereeing sucks ass. Good game but something has to be done about this Refereeing.

Also Just watched that hit again and by the look of it on here it shouldn't have even been a Major he never charged him Full tilt , Charging is where a player takes a huge run at some one that that little of a run thats just the pace of the game and a good hit imo. He was going for the puck as Thorn was going for it also as main just cleaned him with a hit he never charged him as bad as everybody thinks just skating backwards then main went for the puck and cleaned Thorn Maybe worth a 2 Min minor but what he got thats retarded. That was a good hit thats the way hockey should be Hard hitting like it was back in the old days Makes the game More exciting. Also How come Fillier Never got anything That was Attempt to inj Gallant Thats how bad the ref is right in front of him horn goes Fillier knows its going to blow and yet takes a Run at gallant Should have been a Attempt to inj right there.
