Confirmed today, Allan Clow will be leaving the Rocket to play for Summerside in the MJAHL after the weekend.
Rocket brass are also expected to meaking minimum movements with reference to trades for the second half. They are taking the approach of trying to make the playoffs and see if they can get a couple of rounds in.

Also expected, Brandon Street will be brought back in for a second look as Chouinard has not seen him play.

There are 13 or 14 teams looking to win a round or 2 it looks like.... Go big or go the fuck home imo

Oh......by the way, I have heard that LaFleur will not be traded. No team wants him.

So who is in control of the team? If they are going to stay pat than why would I want to come back next year and watch them again. Mr. S is still pulling the strings and do not be surprised if he goes on tv and talks about small crowds and than pulls out of here and puts the blame on the people of PEI.

I was surprised to check at the last census and see that PEI lost as many people as the whole North Shore of New Brunswick. Perhaps the demographics do not help either.....

What seems lost in all of this is that this Rocket team is 10-6 at home this season, including 5-0 at home the last month, and 10-4 overall since the debacle in Lewiston.
It's not as if we're going to The Morgue, game after game, and watching a team lose and not even try - the team is winning at home, but those "great fans" still aren't coming out.
The effort has definitely been there since Guy has taken over, and it's reflected in the record.
I'm not saying this team shouldn't trade right now, but I do think people are somewhat overreacting - there are, after all, 11 days left in this trade period, and we really don't know what's going to happen.
I'd save the bile about "no trades" at least till trading period is over and we see what's happened.....if anything.

Didn't say there would not be any trades......but I heard from a reliable source that there will be none of much consequence. They really cannot afford to give anyone of significance away if they wish to make the playoffs. You may see another player ot two quit the team in the next week or so, and there may be minor trades for them. Cliche will need to be given away pretty much....theres a possibilty that Malouin may leave the team and wait to be traded. Clow has left but has no trade value.

And the Rocket are well on their way to ruining another good young player....

They could give away anybody they want and still make the playoffs.. Moncton is terrible and getting worse by dealing two of their top 3 scorers.... however they were ridiculously overpaid for both so good on them.... newsflash that's how you run a team.. when you suck you sell If not selling then hop in the market and add to the team you feel can win a couple playoff rounds....... doing nothing does nothing and accomplishes nothing.... and sets us further back again next year when half our team turns 20
