Looking at the standings with the season winding down...hottest and coldest... Top 5 hottest teams 1-Val d'Or 9-1-0 2-Saint John 8-1-1 3-Rouyn 8-2-0 4/5-Charlotteown and Gatineau at 7-3-0 HM-Shawinigan at 6-3-1 Top 5 coldest 1-Baie Comeau 1-9-0 2-Quebec 1-8-1 3-Halifax 2-8-0 4-Moncton 2-5-3 5-Bathurst and Drum 4-5-1 It is not a very good sample to take the Titan in the coldest teams. As soon as we see back Boivin/Morand/Popov in the lineup, they become a 4 lines offense instead of a two and a half lines offense. Take the whole season if you want. That makes Titan one of the top 3 coldest teams.

I was looking at the Klimas' stats the other day and though they are still contributing, they are not producing at the same rate since Dec 1st...they play a high energy game and it seems to have sapped them of some energy...obviously Kevin's injury will hurt dearly... Kevin-pre Dec 1st 29 GP 12-21-33 Kelly-pre Dec 1st 29 GP 13-11-24 Combined 58 GP 25-32-57(0.98 PPGM) Kevin-post Dec 1st 23 GP 11-6-17 Kelly-post Dec 1st 19 GP 7-4-11 Combined 42 GP 18-10-28(0.67 PPGM) a 31% drop I would hardly say that Kevin had been sapped of energy lately. 10 points in his last 11 games (one of which he left early) and he was flying out there most games. They both went through a slump after that weekend against RN and VD, but Kevin had certainly bounced back strong recently. Makes this injury even worse.

It is what it is. The Cats are also not the 3rd worst teams in the Q but they are cold right now. You have to stop being so paranoid about everything that's posted. I am paranoid when I see you stating the Wildcats are not what they are right now. For me they are simply returning to normality. As for the Titan, it will definitely be a 0.600 team in the last stretch, far from a team in the coldest ones. It is easy to explain why they have been playing 0.450 hockey lately, but I would not even mention them in that category if I was you....your choice.

That line's production died when Bower got hurt. Might as well call Will Smith "Mr. September/October". 5 goals, 14 points in 19 games during those months. 5 goals and 11 points in 33 games since then. He had a similar hot start last year and then faded until having a pretty good end to the season. But then he was awful in the playoffs in all aspects of the game.

No doubt the Wildcats are not the powerhouse they looked like in December when they beat up on Maritime teams missing their key players. I posted it here numerous times and some accused me of being negative, so don't pull this bullshit that I'm a homer. The Cats are not the team they looked like in December, but they are not exactly the inept team they have been the last 2 weeks losing 7 straight either. Have a tiny spec of common sense. The cats slump is not hard to explain, Weiderer was suspended, both Kilmas were hurt and Garland had a slump(for him). Why can you assume the Titan will get healthy and bounce back but the Cats will magically keep sucking forever?

I think that, at least in part was playing with Garland though. Early in the year, the Klmias were driving their own line. Usually anybody that plays with Garland will see their production boosted.

St.John is 2 ahead and now has 3 games in hand...can pretty much waive 1st place bye bye unless SJ flops...only 14 games left...

Pretty tall order if you ask me. I can see them playing .500 from here to season`s end

They should probably concentrate on trying to actually win a game. There are 2 head to head games left. The Wildcats have won 5 of the 7 head to head meetings so far. Albeit the 2 the Sea Dogs won happen to be the most recent. It wasn't that long ago when nobody thought anyone had a chance of catching Moncton. I agree that it doesn't look good for the Wildcats right now, but as a Sea Dogs' fan I'm not ready to declare them division winners just yet. But yeah, ending the losing streak would be Step 1.

Every year CHSB and Sylvain say the same thing, wait until next . Next year is next year. This year we hopefully might make the playoffs. Good teams play thru injuries,as SaintJohn did this year. They have depth, something that Moncton and the Titan do not have. We have a lot of prospects in Bathurst but prospects are just that, prospects. Wehave been near the bottom all year, why would we be making this sudden thrust at the near end of the season.

Cats fall another point behind...3 points back with SJ having 3 games in hand. cats only have 13 games left, including 3 against powerful West teams. They'd have to sweep the other 10 to beat out SJ unless they fall on their faces...

Sea Dogs pull off the anti-Wildcat...scoring 2 goals in the last 33 seconds to tie it, then win it in 1st minute of OT...ouf!
5 points back with SJ having 2 in hand.
