I thnk it will be a close game. I am looking forward to seeing Bathurst play since they made the changes, they could be a tougher team to play against because of those changes.

Tomorrow night (i guess tonight) is a great oppurtunity to springboard up the standings. not only over bathurst, but st. john's as well, with them playing the red hot Sea Dogs at home. Let's just hope the boys show up for 60 minutes.
Should be a tight one, though, and with Mr. Graham potentially making his Titan debut, Big Bad Brad may finally get to dance in this one. On a side note, It's gonna be hard to step in that rink tomorrow, as the last time I saw the Titan in action was Game 7 in the first round of the playoffs last year. Oh well, time to move on I guess.

Also of interest, who do you start in net? I say if we're going to keep him (as it appears we are) might as well see if Antoine's recent improvment is for real.

i'm going to go with a Rocket win tonight, predicting a 4-3 win with Lafleur starting, he has afterall played solid the past two games on the road and its hopefully we'll get to see him play a strong game on home ice.

I predict that the Rocket will be wearing their red uniforms, which are much sharper than their white ones, and that they'll start the second half of the season with a blast, with their third consecutive win and a move into 5th place.
Here's another prediction - over the second half of the season, the Rocket will be one of the top 6 teams in the Q.
Crowds will improve, and the team will make it to the second round of the playoffs, and maybe even the third.
The key to all this will be coaching and goaltending.
We finally have a top-notch coach, and we may even have a dynamite one-two combination in the nets, something we've never had before.
I'd alternate Lafleur and GĂ©linas every game for the rest of the regular season, and keep both of them sharp and confident heading into the playoffs.
See you at The Morgue this evening!

Looking forward to tonights game. This is the first of 6 second half match-ups between these teams. The teams split their first two games.
As for who starts, Lafleur got the start and a win back on November 10th stopping 33 of 37 shots. Lafleur started game two on Nov 18. He only faced 3 shots in the first period and made all stops. The wheels came off in the second and the Titan scored 3 goals on 5 or 6 shots and Lafleur got the hook. Gelinas let in two more in the second and closed the door for the third in a 5-4 losing effort.
I think we're going to see Chouinard split tending duties as Lafleur gets his game together and he played the last two.
I'd go with Gelinas to start tonight. He was solid for the period and a half he faced the Titan back in November and they have seen a lot of Lafleur last season, including the play offs. Give them something new to think about.
My big concern is on defense. We have not picked up anyone to help out so if we're gonna compete in any way come play off time our young defense have to step up and that will only happen if they get more ice time. Its always a risk to play guys who are not ready but they'll never be ready if we don't play them.
I'd like to see the following pairings:
Gervais - Malouin
I think Gervais plays a tough game and is capable of skating with the puck and has a pretty good sense when to jump up in the play. Malouin at this stage needs to play a tougher style of hockey and I think he'd be a good fit to pair with Gervais.
Main - Deighan
Main is is both tireless and fearless back there. He plays smart and gets good position. Given Deighan's size he's going to have to develop that work ethic and smarts to play at this level. He has offensive potential as he skates well and moves the puck pretty good but he has to get much better defensively. To do this he has to play a very smart game focus on positioning and work on cutting off shooting and passing lanes and force the play towards some help.
Southhorn - Lessard
Both of these guys are solid two way defense men. For a second year defense man, Southorn has great potential to be an offensive threat. He skates and carries the puck well. I think this pair has the potential to add to our offense as both are capable of jumping up into rush.

We have never, NEVER had a defenceman, or even a player, like Brian Main in a PEI Rocket uniform before.
Mean and fearless would have been a good description for Travis Mealy, but Main is Meaner and Fearlesser. Bonneau was more an agitator and fighter than he was mean.
So a warning to the Titan.....
Mess with Mean Brian Main, and
You'll end up in Lotsa Pain.

Main has quickly become one of my favorite players.
Coming from Gatineau he had a reprutation for having a terrific work ethic and being able to play with some grit but what has impressed me the most is his skill.
At the start of the season he worked hard and made an impact playing forward on our checking line. And now he playing a solid 20 - 25 mins a night on defense doing everything.
He has been a great addition to this team and one of the few players who consistently produces every night.
Keep it up Main !
