Mior and the gang visit the CCC to take on the Rocket. This is Mior's first game in PEI, since being traded last winter.
I say a 6-3 Rocket Win. I hope Mior starts so I can boo him all game.

For a team who's fans criticize others the most for wrongfullly writing their team's name (Rockets instead of Rocket), maybe you should write your opponents' names well too. ;D
It's Olympiques, not Olympics.

Yes indeed, it is "Hull Olympiques", named in honor of the 1976 Montréal Olympics. Kind of odd, and before that, the name of the team was 'Hull Festivals'. Still, better than some of the ugly, stupid, hyperaggressive names one gets today, like the 'Owen Sound Attack', or 'Lewiston Maneiacs', perhaps the worst name ever!

Any info on this Julien Machabée who is listed on the Q site as being from Charlottetown? Does he actually play? Is he still with Gatineau?

Macahbee currently lives in Casselman, ON and has been receiving considerable ice time with all the injuries but, was hurt last nite in bathurst and is questioable for today's game. Very hard worker with decent hands.

Also looking forward to seeing young Travis Stacey for Gatineau.
The 17yr old leads the Olympiques with 122PIM (3rd in the league) and 15 fighting majors.
Gatineau put a hush over the crowd at the CCC when they selected him 13th overall at the 2006 QMJHL draft here in Charlottetown.
Stacey was also a participant here at the Telus Cup in '06 with Châteauguay.
Stacey Vs Gallant?

Did anyone watch the game on the internet because I couldn't get the feed? Can someone give me a re-cap of the game?
Bravo to both Morrison and Mior. I'm sure both were fairly pleased. Congrats to the Piques for another win without 7 regulars in the lineup.

Highlights of the game:
#1-Brett Morrison of old. What a game this kid had tonight. Im sure he loved potting the 4 agaist his old team.
#2- TRAGIC STEPPER!!!!!!!!!
Thought the boys would have picked up the 2pts today, but it was still a decent game, despite the loss.
Lafleur was shaky in between the pipes, and the team seemed to play better once Gelinas got into the game.
I thought that Paynter, Locke, Coon-Come all had a solid game.
Anyone know what happened to Gallant? He had a couple shifts, then went to the dressing room.
