Unfortunately for Locke he hasn't been able to put good games together consistently. In the past he has had games like last night where he makes a big contribution, then has come back the next game or two where he has been barely noticeable. Whether or not it was a result of the way he has been used or coached but with this being his 3rd year in the league and next year being an overage year, now more than ever he has to show that he can be a consistent contributor. He doesn't have to have 3 games every night but has to do the things he is good at consistently, and one of the things that I think he is good at is throwing his body around creating room for his linemates on the ice. He was doing that in the last 2 playoffs where I thought he was at his best, he has shown he is capable of doing it.

Locke isn't going anywhere. As I said on an earlier post that Bois had up if this kid is given a chance he will put the numbers up. I beleive he will be a lot more consistant now that he is getting more ice time. Keep er rolling Chad.

Of course Lock aint going anywhere.....deals like this happen all year in the MJAHL.
They make deals like this, which include major Jr A players, to hope that at 20yrs they will be able to have them.
Locke has been playing great as of late, and hopefully he continues his strong play fo rthe remaining of the season!
