Third period from hell turns into an OT loss, after I thought we had the game in the book after the second period.

6-5 VD win.......
Boys gotta play 60 min to win games.
Credit to Vd, but the Rocket D has to play better then they did tonight.....they ALL play bad.
Good game by majority of the Rocket FW's......

Big Collapse, Interesting to see how they come out and play the next game. Might be a good thing if the team comes together after this. Lost this game as a team because all the lines fell apart in the third.

Quite the meltdown by the Rocket.. against one of least offensive teams in the Q. When they scored 6 against us last night, you'd think that they'd have none left for tonight..

Could almost feel that one was going to be a goal....that was a bad way to lose but a point is a point....should have been two in the bank though.

Wow that was rough, but we got one point. Certainly not one to be proud of. The guys are gonna be pretty dejected after that third period. Hope fully they can shake it off and put in a good showing tomorrow because that is going to be a much tougher game.

Did anyone notice that Val Dor had 6 guys on the ice for there 5th goal. Did not look like they had there goalie on the bench.

I know that the Rocket had a habit of losing leads in the 3rd period when leading after 2 periods, usually they were 1 or 2 goal leads, but last night was the worse one yet. Going into the 3rd period with a 4 goal lead and wind up leaving the building with a loss is inexcusable.
I see Gallant had another two points, good for him. Ever since he hurt his hand in a fight against Halifax he has had 2 or 3 point games, the fight must have softened his hands up a bit. ;D But he has been a pleasant surprise this season. He was brought in to add toughness to the lineup, which he has done a good job of, but he has also been scoring a few goals here and there and some of them have been timely goals too. The other thing that I like about him is that he seems to play well with anyone, no matter who they are. Sometimes a player will play well with only two or three other players, but it seems like he is plays well no matter who Chouinard puts on a line with him, which is a type of player that a coach likes to have in his lineup.

disappointing loss for sure but i'll take the one point.. 3 points in a 3 in 3 is all you really look for i do agree no excuse to blow such a lead... but VD did outplay us for the majority of the game guess Walker didn't need a playmaker to get his first career hatty tho
