Yet another mass shooting in the US...the GOP will pretend nothing happened and keep taking all the NRA donations...repulsive.
Trump Jr is pushing a bill to make silencers legal, imagine how many more would have died if the guy had silencers!!!

The gun issue is pretty interesting. You hear gun supporters say they need guns to protect themselves. How many of the mass shootings in the United States did one of the victims pull out their own gun and shoot the gunman? So do u really need a gun to protect yourself?

The gun issue is pretty interesting. You hear gun supporters say they need guns to protect themselves. How many of the mass shootings in the United States did one of the victims pull out their own gun and shoot the gunman? So do u really need a gun to protect yourself? I wouldn't have a gun in my house, I said that back in this thread during the summer after the congressional shootings at the baseball diamond. That said, I can understand why somebody, especially in the states, would want a HANDGUN for protection but I don't agree with the need for semi-automatic or anything higher being included as necessary under the 2nd amendment, even a semi should only be allowed for those in the military or law enforcement. And fill in the loopholes to make sure those with mental health issues do not get guns. |

So do u really need a gun to protect yourself? 10 weeks tomorrow will mark the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012... if little kindergarten kids getting shot up didn't bring in stricter gun laws for semi-automatics, nothing will. |

Imagine if all the people at that concert were armed with semi-automatic weapons as they started being fired upon....1000 panicking people being sprayed with gun fire shooting off guns on the Vegas strip.... As others have said...if Obama pleading with tears in his eyes for some kind of change after Sandy Hook never led to change this certainly won't. Americans want the right to kill each other out of fear. No stat or common sense argument otherwise will sway their opinions. Many really see no issue and think that the millions of guns already on their streets makes laws irrelevant. Never mind every stat from other countries around the world who have made changes and seen death rates drop....fear mongering means guns stay and people keep getting murdered unfortunately. |
