1) Clinton was Secretary of State at the time that 20% of U.S. uranium was sold to Russia through sketchy circumstances at best and represents a scandal that if true would be the biggest in U.S. history - Obama would be complicit in this as well. 2) Fox News covered the Niger story this morning so stop the bullshit. Look at Foxnews website! I don't see one story questioning what happened in Niger - if it's there, it's buried. I see a story where they call it chaos that the media questioned Kelly defended Trump (by the way, it has just come out that his version of that congresswoman's speech was way off). They also have a story about how Ellen... yes "ELLEN" of the Ellen show, didn't dig for info in her interview with Vegas security. W T F. Skimming the whole foxnews page is depressing as hell. Talk about fake news, the spins they have on stuff is incredible. It's pretty much a tabloid now. I watched a story on the Niger incident on Fox and Freinds this morning. There have been other correspondents on the last few nights as well talking about how budget cuts may have contributed to the incident, they have talked about the congresswoman eavesdropping and how Trump didn't help himself with talking about how past presidents haven't called when they have written instead. Fox isn't treating it like Trump's Benghazi though like CNN and MSNBC though which is rich considering all the cover they did for Hillary and denied it even happened like it actually did. |

The shit storm Trump is in right now is his own making. 1-past presidents may or may not have called but why make it you vs them, all started there. there are many stories of Obama and Bush meeting privately, off the record with Gold Star families, that only came out when he brought it up. 2-the fact that nothing came out for 12 days on the 4 green berets has even worst optics when more attention is brought to it, this was under his watch with his people calling the shots. 3-then the story about his call comes out to the lady in Florida, he lied about what he really said, then the lady, family and even worse John Kelly confirms he lied. 4-Kelly is made to look like a donkey's ass talking against the family and congress woman because his boss created the whole mess. 5-the story about Trump promising one grieving father $25,000 and not delivering on it came out, then with egg in the face the check is suddenly "in the mail" but 6 months late. I'm sure the fact that a black woman and black congress woman was involved will make him look great with his base, but his base won't pass him any legislation or get him re-elected...or any clout with congress or the senate. |

This thread is just Billy repeating the headlines of the day, and mf1994 repeating the FoxNews spin, but this latest development is just unreal.
-Trump tells widow "He knew what he signed up for". He meant well IMO, but butchered the delivery likely as he has no human ability to feel sympathy.
-Congresswoman riding in car says that the way he said it was terrible and upset the widow.
-Trump claims she is lying, and he has proof. Sarah Sanders supports him.
-Kelly says that Trump DID say those words because he told him to. Then he reminisces of a 2015 event where he claims she took all the credit for getting funding for a building, then sat down - so as to attack her as a person.
-VIDEO shows up of her explaining how she, with others, fast tracked the naming of the building, for 5 minutes. Then she goes on for 18 minutes about heroes and law enforcement, getting laughs and applause.
-Sarah Sanders says the White House backs Kelly's version, and that people shouldn't be questioning a 4 star general.
This is insanity! They lie and lie and lie, and even with video, they turn it on the media. Meanwhile, the NRA are releasing doomsday videos/ads basically telling everyone to get your guns, because Trump is being attacked, and it's almost time for a civil war.
I can't wait until things go back to normal, if they ever do.

Frederica Wilson is a fraud trying to portray herself as supporting the troops in this situation considering she has voted numerous times against increasing funding for the VA, for soldier's benefits, death benefits for soldiers families... not to mention if she was any more of a loon she would be Maxine Watters crazy.

There are already consumer protections in place which provide consumers who have been wronged greater awards - all class action lawsuits do is take years to go through the process, make the trial lawyers rich and end up giving consumers lesser awards. The big banks like Wells Fargo, who did screw over their customers, can afford to litigate class action lawsuits until the end of time but smaller, regional banks cannot afford to litigate the nuisance suits that would have come. These banks have already been crippled in being able to lend under Dodd Frank which is one of the reasons the U.S. economy hadn't come out of the 2008-2009 recession as strongly as expected based upon past downturns. The main people here who are decrying this vote are the trial lawyers who will lose a valuable revenue stream through nuisance suits and the Democrats who get donations from these swamp rats. |

The US stock market has gone up about 212% in 8 years, which averages out to 26% per year since the last recession.
